Suggestion for soulstice 2.
Hi, I'm late to the game, however, I got some gameplay suggestions. The light element is OK but when you're unable to damage the other kind is just very annoying; this shows especially at later levels. It stops the flow immensely and would be better to either have a mode that lets you deal less damage to different colored enemies instead of being unable to do any damage. It would be better if there wasn't any timer on Lute's shield and just make the enemies do more damage once they enter the circle of Lute - either both color variations or the ones that are different color will get a buff. Buffing them and letting you fight them while Lute is either re-charging or if the force field can't run out will make the gameplay pop much better. For higher difficulties you could enforce on the buffs of the enemies and maybe even give the sisters a de-buff when you're not matching colors instantly with them. Having all the different healing spirits with the different colors was a bit of a miss to me since they can revive the bigger 1 when lute is still recharging. Would love the upcoming game even more if you could either add any of these ideas or just make it possible that the sisters can have purple mode (not necessarily the form, but color) to do damage to them all to keep the combat flowing. The later levels kinda felt short to me because of the color spam. Also, please no more missions with timers. It's ok to have it for the gem rank like DMC but that mission to enter the cathedral was absolutely the worst. Anyways, it's no game shaming just hoping to see soulstice 2 be goty material with those kinda tweaks. Loved the true mix of Berserk, classic GOW, DMC and Cloud in this game.

Soulstice 2 is never happening; the game was a massive commercial and critical failure.

The devs are still posting game-related stuff every now and then. So not sure if it's that set in stone as you make it out be
