Just a basic Mayflash F300
You could buy new sanwa buttons and joystick for it and be fine I think. You can also find some older madcatz fightsticks on ebay which have sanwa parts (not all of them do), they are going for around 60 usd. This option is good if you don't care about newer console compatibility as much, bought a madcatz fightstick pro this way. For a newer stick the qanba obsidian or one of the razer sticks are pretty good choices I think.

or if you're gonna just go for it - the only option is a Victrix fight stick. I own both of these and the keyboard fighting box is just as good as the Victrix, but real talk from mayflash-hori-razer, whatever stick you're looking at it, none of them are different enough to warrant buying.
The Hori RAP4 is really solid for a mid price stick. Might need to swap out Hori's Hayabusa buttons for Sanwa buttons if you prefer them, but I actually really liked the hayabusas.
High end and you are probably looking at an qanba obsidian, or maybe that new madcatz stick.
If you have money to burn, and don't mind a chonky stick, I can personally attest to the quality of Qanba's Dragon. Also an incredibly easy to mod stick, but really quite expensive.
Also Razer Panthera has been pretty good for me
Thank you guys so much for the answers! Definitely more detailed than I expected which I love, I do have one question though. How do you all feel about Madcatz the authentic EGO? It was the first stick I looked at and was quite considering it.
If you don't wanna snipe a stick that's fine, you can always go with Hori or Qanba.
But also beware, this game by no means need an arcade stick, the moves are made in mind for ppl that play on consoles and pull it of easily with a pad.
These days ppl get arcade sticks because it's an awesome way to express your personality and a cool peripheral to master, but by no means you NEED it in order to play this game even competitively.
This game is one of the first to be an introduction to FGs, cuz u liked Persona and you wanted to play this.

yeah i had one of those mayflash btw think it was like the 500 elite some ♥♥♥♥. With an octogonal gate, trust me it's as good as a rap V.
that why i told you buy victrix, its the fastest in the industry. All sticks compare to mayflash elites, even at the lower price.
Like i said i noted that the keyboard stick had amazing reaction time lIke the victrix, because its like a keyboard in a fightstick case. SO the input is faster than any thing but victrtix.
