Double quarter circle inconsistent
Hard to pull of 236236 and 214214. Searching the forums other people have had this problem, but was wondering if anyone had a solution. For me it feels impossible to do and incredibly inconsistent. Playing on a hitbox. I can do this motion fine in other games, including Strive. In practice mode it shows the inputs as they should, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I saw some mention of switching steam controller settings from joystick to dpad, but I don't know how to do that.

Also saw someone say that it might be registering neutral, and you have to do it as one continuous input. How would I go about that on hitbox? I have no idea.

Any tips?

it's inconsistent for me as well on a series x controller yet every single person online can do it 100% of the time with perfect timing and accuracy

as someone who can link c.black spot into d. god hand.
you really need to buffer it quickly and as soon as you are able to. that will differ from combo to combo. find you active point, buffer before that then hit C or D as soon as your characrer recovers

More case raw, was just practicing inputs in training mode. Combos I can do them usually.

But here's the strange thing and I sort of found a solution. If I do 23636 without lifting off the buttons or returning to neutral I can consistently do it.

So I think it's something about the brief moment I lift my fingers off messes it up, but I don't know why.

I use a hitbox and haven't had this issue. So i'd be curious to see it. I'll load it up later and see if i run into similar issues. Which characters in particular or i guess from your post it's all of them

Here's pics of my inputs like I would do in any other game, Strive, SF5, whatever. Didn't work no matter how fast or slow I did it. Inputs look clean.

You're comparing it to games with drastically more lenient input windows. In terms of input requirements, even 2626 will work in this game. You're probably just doing it too slow for this game's standards.

Game's input reader is ass, you have to do it fast.

This was also a problem on the ps3 and 360 versions and this is sadly the same problem on this port too, not a deal breaker, but it can get weird pulling off a clean double QC forward or backward, even on a fight stick or keyboard.
