Problem starting the game.

When start the game it locks with a white screen. The game folder has a text file of BadGraphics.txt. With the content:
gfx\Game\03_Guatemala\Location_01_07\Leaves03.jp2: Error: <unknown>.

Reinstall did not help.
Os is Win10.

Anyone with similar issue?

Yep, I'm having the same issue. Also Windows 10. Have played 90 mins already, and now I can't get back into the game. Tried rebooting, guess will have to try unintalling next.

Same problem here. I'm about 80 min into the game and now I can't start it anymore. It just shows the white screen and the spinning mouse cursor.

Was anyone able to fix this problem or find a workaround?

Same issues here - have rebooted - reinstalled - to no avail.... Worked the first day I installed and played.... so frustrating when this happens.

Also - I have this problem with many of MumboJumbo games... it's a shame because what little I have gotten to play of them before they quit working, they are pretty cool.

Here is a fix that seems to work for me.

Go to dgVoodoo 2[dege.freeweb.hu] and download the latest stable release (v2.62.1 as of this post).

Unpack the zip file and navigate to the following folder: MS\x86.

There should be 4 files

• D3D8.dll
  
• D3D9.dll
  
• D3DImm.dll
  
• DDraw.dll

Move these to the install directory.

Start the game.

You can also configure Voodoo by launching the "dgVoodooCpl.exe". I think the main reason to do this is to get rid of the watermark in the game and change resolution.

I had the same problem. What worked for me was to simply deactivate Steam Overlay and SteamVR. Samantha Swift and the Golden Touch however is still unplayable to me.

Edit: Nope, only worked once. After restarting the white screen comes up again...
