Is it possible to transfer my save files from pirated version?
(In case someone gets mad about it, I first download a demo or cracked version to see if I would like the game. Then i buy it.)
I like this game a lot and i have about 3 hours of progress on the cracked version. I want to buy the game now but i dont want to replay all those missions. Is it possible to use cracked version save files on steam version?

lol you don't have to do anything, the game build is the same and save game locations are the same.

If you played the cracked version below 1.84, then likely you were using the old save game file format. So you can just email me the .dat files and I can convert them for you :)

Thank you for quick reply. I have now bought the game.
On the cracked version, it says 1.85-3 in the main menu. I guess i am good to go?
Very good game by the way!

Oh and if i deleted the pirated version after launching the steam version, would i lose the save files since its not on the steam cloud?

Thank you!

You should make a backup of the files under the save game directory, see:

And once you have steam version installed, just copy and paste everything back there if they are gone.
