CW1 Serum recipe is not added to Recipe Book

So as far as I understand, you have to right click on any Serum recipe to add it to the book and then throw it away. Kinda weird mechanics, should been adding the paper to the book instead.

But the problem with CW1 (Carry weight 1) is that it is not written on a normal recipe paper, but on a quest item called "Grugny Note" (whatever that word means). Thus it is not automatically added.

So I have to carry the recipe book AND that small note to have all the recipes together.

yea, the quest item is of type "Note" and not "Recipe" that's why it's not recorded when you open it to read. I'll see if I can improve it.

have you tried taking the recipe paper and drop onto the recipe book? I had it working that way before making the unified recipe book

Any chance that we will have an option to record "unlocked' recipes, when we make em by hand?

Also few recipes are found as posters on the wall - I'd love to have a way to add 'em to book too.
First serum isn't obvious but I think can be triggered if player read it and only open the chest with ingredients present right after it.

You can add custom notes in the game. Good way to track some of them.

Never saw a way to make it... There're a lot of reasons to make custom notes in-game to keep it and not to alt-tab.

Uh, it's "My Notes" button... it's even less obvious to exist than the console button...
'd love to have a hint/tutorial for it...

open the journals page and the My Notes button is on the bottom right corner along with console log button

When I drop recipes onto the book, they just swap places with it (book is selected, recipe takes its place in the inventory), same as with all other items, when you sort them.
