I'm with you re the way he came into the chat - you can tell he's frustrated, but that only happens when someone likes your product.
As a newb as well - who you've already shown yourself to be an active developer who gives a ♥♥♥♥ about his product and customers experiences - I think a pop up or tooltip to briefly explain what those status icons are and how aggressive they are, would be pretty cool. Not sure if the engine allows for that kind of granularity, but it would be a good addition. I understand if it's a design choice to add obscurity and mystery, but I'm an older bloke now with limited time and attention span, pop ups are good :P

Completely agree mate, neither would I. I think tooltips WOULD be pretty great though :)
