Grill Next to Razor stole my food!

I'm a new player and I had enough ingredients to make 2 servings of Roasted Raven and I put the ingredients in the grill and hit craft and it took the ingredients but didn't give me the Roasted Raven.

Am I only supposed to put in enough ingredients to do one combine at a time? I crafted pistol ammo with enough ingredients to combine twice in the workbench and had no problems but this grill stole my hard earned ingredients.

I'm really disappointed now that I lost the ammo i used to shoot those ravens this really sucks!

yes, you should follow the recipe exactly and not try to double cook. I’m sure you can load the latest auto save and try it again.

cooking works differently than workbench because cooking takes time (it advances time). So you can only cook 1 serving per required time. but if you level up crafting skill you will be able to generate more food with the same amount of ingredients.
