A little bit about this game!

I started making this game on my own back in 2015. I was a big S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan. I was so obsessed with it that I had to figure out how to play the menu music of SoC:

But at the time I was also craving for a top down twin stick shooter that had more than just, you know, bullet hails - something with elements of RPG, survival, zombies, and so on. After failing to find a game to my liking, I decided to make my own. The game evolved from a few pill capsules to a full-blown world with a desolation/abandonment art style in the next few years, as you can see here:

I stopped developing the game due to burnout and a new born child, but I managed to find the time to pick it back up last year, and now I'm ready to ship it and let the world have it.

As of today, I'm still a huge fan of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and I'm very excited for STALKER 2! In Tunguska, I tried my best to imitate the mesmerizing atmosphere with lighting, art, and sound effects, and I hope I did well.

A week ago I decided to polish the stealth system, and it blew my mind how much fun and how thrilling it was to play my own game, on a map that I have test-played hundreds of times. It just never grows old. I'm very happy that, now I can say that I made a game I wanted to play, and enjoyed playing it.

This game looks awesome. I love the Stalker series so much, so I'm always on the look out for badass Stalker type games. I'm an indie dev as well and I know this sounds arrogant, but most indie games I see just don't seem that good. Your game doesn't just have potential, it also looks amazing RIGHT NOW. I'm excited to play it

i remember following the Subreddit for the game's progress, i wasn't actually expecting it to be released at the time after you mentioned a halt in development. but oh boy i was excited when i saw the release trailer.
