time based demo?
only allowing 1 hour of game play doesn't give the game justice and to allow people to experience anything past the first tier of tools and a few walls of building.

edit: so you updated the demo to no longer be time based then 2 weeks later are shutting it down?

I disagree on that solution. one hour in survival/crafting/base building games simply doesnt do it justice.

Of course! We really appreciate your feedback; we were also considering this solution, and it seemed optimal to us! But that doesn’t mean it’ll be the same during future open tests of the game!

Yikes only an hour? makes me wounder how buggy the game is on release.

Maybe they should due a closed/open beta testing before release.

hya, i like this game so so much, but after 70 min ish, it keeps disconnecting. i already launched game like 10 more times in a raw, it still the same. dear dev team, is there anything can be improved please? :(

I hear you, but we had to limit the game somehow for the demo and time limit seemed the best option for us! But it will change in the future with next playtest!
Who cares about this game anyway, when a developer is making bold claims about it from day one?

The demo only offers one hour of playtime, and once you opt in for early access and play that same hour, you'll realize that you can't get a refund. Furthermore, there's nothing more to the first hour of game-play.
It's a typical cash grab. The game will likely never exit early access, just like many other asset store games. This is because it's very hard to expand on the game due to its art style, even though the asset pack they chose has quite a big bundle of set pieces.

But that's just my take on it. Some people might like it, some might not. That's how it always goes, and developers will cash in anyway. That's the world we live in nowadays, where you have to sift through scams because you can't trust cheap indie games or AAA companies. Just stick to games with a unique design and story you like, and avoid the 100th asset flip of the so-called zombie western mixed with futuristic steampunk stuff and modern rifles. Because all these games since they started 3 years ago feel and play the same, they're all clones with maybe a different story. but that is it.

100% agree with this. You can't just buy a game anymore. You need to actually watch gameplay and play a demo before buying or chances are you'll regret it.

Some games with Reviews not great end up being fantastic even with a few bugs.

When I realised this had a 1 hour limit I had actually lost my 30min save (if you can save) so I uninstalled rather than restart, so I don't know how this game plays but I hate the idea of a one hour limit. There has to be another way to have done it.

A game I bought is killing me because it's literally just the tutorial and Chapter 1 and they have a big unnatural screen that pops blocking your train from going further saying, "Under Construction" but you have the option to go back and loot for material and play with your train rather than just be forced out of the game. This way of doing it didn't feel off to me at all.

Yeah not even gonna start the game, no point wasting my time.
Would be far better to just lock areas or tiers so people can sufficiently test the games basics, you want the players to maximize messing around to get data and 1 hour is not enough to bring the build mechanics to its breaking point for example to find out if the code could be improved to increase limits and performance.
