How do I install Reinforced Alert? I'm trying to follow the instructions but do I really nead Daemon Tools???

how do i install it. The instructions say to mount the files in the RA folder with "something like Daemon Tools", really I'm at a loss

Still the best way: extract the 7z file into the Dangerous Waters directory, then run
wineconsole Install_OPFOR_DWX1_51.BAT
I'd use a terminal since "Open With" is not very good on Gnome. On KDE you can use "Open With" to run the batch file with wineconsole.
wineconsole is part of the wine package, so even if you have Steam it should be installed using apt-get install wine

wish i could remember for you, installed Reinforce a few years ago 1.49, i had some difficulty but eventually got it working fine and in full screen i only have 1 issue and i don't know whether it pertains to the mod as basically i had a different pc build before this. and that is the sonar pings audio being very loud compared to other sounds like voices, though i have found out the latest version is now 1.51 which has Russian voices apparently so i might need to reinstall it again as the mod is suggested to require a clean install of DW v 1.04, but really want this audio issue resolved before updating as it totally frustrates me.
