Dangerous Waters not working after download.

Downloaded the group which included Dangerous Waters. Running Win 8.1. game starts to load but after 1-2 seconds it kicks out and the Windows box stating that the game has stopped working appears. I've un-installed and re-installed but the same thing happens. Somebody please help!!

There's a wrapper link in the disscusion center of this game on the stame store, I had no luck yet with my Win 10 and they don't instruct you how to install the wrapper

You could try to run it in compatibility mode for XP or download the wrapper there: http://www.jiri-dvorak.cz/dangw/
No install required, just extract the d3d8.dll to the game folder and that's it.
