Newbie to Dangerous Waters, looking to learn basics

I've already got a few down, like stay at 3 knots if you don't wanna broadcast your position, active sonar will reveal both the enemy's position & your own, etc. But actually playing the game I'm finding rather difficult, especially all the stations. TMA I might end up leaving to Autocrew anyways, but I was wondering if someone would be willing to help me learn the ropes!
