4 party members
i keep losing in arena to teams with 4 heroes. but i can only equip 3. whats the deal how do i unlock a 4th

yes, the very first or second tutorial quest even wants you to buy the slime pet

so u can have 3 humans and 6 pets? cuz there is 9 slots so im guessing they will at some point allow u to equip 9 characters

No. You will only get 4 member team. You can have up to 3 heroes and one pet or up to three pets and one hero. The 9 square grid just gives you the freedom to customize where your players are at.
