Dualsense Causes Stutters
I never had this happen in any game I've ever played until now but for some reason when I plug in my Dualsense it causes the frametime to stutter ever 2 or so seconds on the dot. Meanwhile while playing with bluetooth the game runs perfectly fine. The problem with that is that all the Dualsense exclusive stuff won't work with bluetooth and I have Xbox icons. Disabling Steam input does nothing, it just makes my controller no longer function. Is there a fix to this or is this game just kind of busted?

Have you tried using other cables or different USB ports. human interface devices such as kb/mouse/controller only need USB 2.0 as 3.0 can cause increase in latency due to higher bandwidth may also be causing your issue too I just recently got this game I'll pick up a dualsense to see if I can figure out why this is happening if you havent fixed it yet, Would be much easier for me to help with the controller, theres so many things it could be that it would be too much to write here without seeing it myself

My motherboard and case are too new. I don't think I have any 2.0 USBs.
But Dualsense supports USB C, so I don't think increased bandwidth will be an issue.

I had this too, then I read this:

https://steamcommunity.com/app/1599660/discussions/0/3808406007548314477/

It's launch options "-nohmd -EpicPortal -dx11"

nohmd refers to VR stuff, EpicPortal you can guess, dx11 guess again. I haven't tried all permutations, but I get no stutter using all three and just a bit of stutter when omitting dx11.

Did you ever find a solve for this? Running into the exact same issue.
These 3 launch options didn't solved the increasing stuttering issue while using a dualsense without steam input.
Your mileage may vary.

-nohmd -EpicPortal -dx11 fixed it after years of problem but on the EPIC download
