Advantage of Online Coop vs Local Coop ?

Hi, my mate and I want to play this game,
But is there an advantage in buying 2 games to play coop ? Or just parsec is fine ?
Maybe the camera ? The ability to create/save a character or something ?

I do not know about online coop since i only played local coop.

I had the same issue but i just got 1 game and parsec, the camera seems to be focused on player 1 and if player 2 gets out of the screen they get back with a small chopper and jump to come down....

Second is they will see their own name i guess if both bought the game instead of just seeing the name "player 2" ( people are asking if can change that but not sure if some one found out how already ) and my second player will collect their own bells to get their own outfits / costums and can save their own player slot / number ( in my case 2 )

If they get number 3 or 4 on accident then they will not have any unlocked / bought costumes and no bells that are needed to unlock outfits or expressions / skins

You're overthinking it.

If you're in the same physical space, in front of the same PC, play local co-op.

If you're in different places, play online co-op.

Online co-op doesn't even work in this game. Only Local Co-op.

I see now that it finally works now Havne't been working at all since i got the game, but maybe a update came out that fixed online services.
