Price
The game is essentially indie. And the price is like for an AAAA project. What sales do you expect?

That price is certainly is an insult, and cruel considering it's a game advertising mostly for children

What a sec, You are getting ONLINE included in the game, not having to pay for PS+ yearly and you're complaining about this game being $60? Heck the PS5 version is $70 & you still need to pay for PS+ ($60-100/yr) to get online. So, please stop whining it's not a rip off of a game, $60 for unlimited online is nice. This game needs to be played online for the best experience and to get all the items that are otherwise impossible to get. I have this game on PS4, and I'm willing to pay for it again to play it on my PC. Everyone should be happy that Sony isn't insisting on making people get PS+ for the online portion.

In my country, the price of this is twice as high as Hogwarts Legacy

Everyone is so grateful that the peak online was less than 700 people!

for a fun AAA current-gen 3D platformer that isn't even that old, you think it should only be $20? my guy, you are asking too much here. the game is overpriced for sure but really it should have been priced at $40, not $60, not $20, $40.

Who is "you"? This is a user forum, not an official Sony messageboard. Nobody here can do anything about the game being too expensive for you.

You guys are insane this game is of the same quality as the rest of the exclusives. It is a great platformer but that genre isnt for everyone. The light heated style doesn't mean it cant be a full priced game. The amount of content and good content without micro transactions and fluff is absolutely worth the $60. No need to cry about a game you probably dont care about regardless of the price.

i think the price is likely to cover all the licensed music featured in the game. but in response to you comment about this being like an indie. this is, from a technical standpoint, easily best in genre. performance and visuals are unrivalled in the 3d platformer space. i agree price should be a little lower. but there is a lot of content and replay ability here for the genre and this game is best in class. you may not like the genre. doesnt make it bad though

I'm sorry, but this game is simply not "indie". Please do your research before throwing around labels for games.

The developers, Sumo Digital have made games for likes of Sonic The Hedgehog, LittleBigPlanet DLC, Disney Infinity, and a bunch of other Sega titles. MM studio entrusted them to handle LittleBigPlanet going forward after they began work on Dreams.

This was their latest game for the franchise. And honestly..? It's pretty incredible for a platformer. It's not LittleBIGPlanet exactly, but.. It's still very fun. Over-priced? Yeah.. I'll give you that much, but do consider the licensed music and replayability factor.
If platformers aren't for you, there's always many more games out there for you to buy instead of complaining on community forums.
