At the beginning they were all laughing and yelling at the xbox players because they had "better exclusives".
I have nothing with xbox but i can enjoy the irony of it. :)
So I think when I'm ready to upgrade I'll just stick to PC hardware upgrades, graphics card will be first, and get a Switch.
PS. This is why I think Sony was mad for shutting down Japan studios, they should have done the opposite and expanded their library of exclusives.
I own PS1, 2, 3, 4+VR. My favourite of these consoles is PS3, PS4 felt like it was a turn in the wrong direction. XMB was great on PS3 but I could never get used to PS4 GUI, and PS4 didn't feel like a unique console, seems generic and a similar experience could have been had if I'd gotten an XBox or just stuck to PC.
No reason to feel bad for us PS5 owners, we still have a fantastic console that is well worth the cost. Exclusives coming to PC later is not a big deal, and actually something I applaud. But still prefer to play on console as it is just more enjoyable. PC gaming is just becoming too much of a pain in the ass to bother with.
The so called "razor blade" model is how console manufactures make a profit, because their heavily marking down their hardware but the cost of games on consoles is significantly higher than PC.
So you might think you're saving money buying a console, but that's only if you think about hardware costs alone. All up if you actually plan on buying games PC is much cheaper.
