Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review for this game. And honestly, it’s mainly because the game seems to promise more than it actually delivers.

Don’t get me wrong – the core idea isn’t bad. You cook meals and serve them to customers. I bought this game because a good friend thought it would be better than the usual cooking games. And to be fair, it kind of is. You can choose your restaurant layout, pick a map, select your dish, and during each session, you're given more and more choices. The graphics are charming (at least in my opinion haha), and it’s by far the most fun with friends – that’s when it lasts the longest.

But... the game is painfully slow when it comes to building up a fun or functional restaurant. So slow that I quickly lost motivation. And once that happens, the irritations begin. Here’s what I noticed:

Limited and random upgrades
This is my biggest frustration. You’re stuck with the items the game happens to give you. Sure, you can upgrade your restaurant, but in practice you often get the same items over and over, or useless ones. The reroll function doesn’t help much either. Combine that with having very little money to spend, and you’ll quickly feel stuck – unable to move forward.

Brutal difficulty
The game is hard – not because what you have to do is difficult, but because everything has to be executed perfectly. Serve the food immediately, don’t let customers wait outside too long, and if you mess up once (especially after day 10), it’s game over. There are a few lifelines, like gaining an extra level, but they’re rare.

Poor balance between customer demands and dish complexity
This was honestly ridiculous at times. For example, you serve coffee (super easy), and then suddenly customers demand berry pie (which takes much longer). And they might request pie back to back. The time it takes to make a pie just isn’t balanced with the available prep time. Plus, some dishes require plates that get dirty and need to be cleaned. It’s manageable at first, but by day 6, you’re already barely keeping up. And by day 10, failure feels inevitable. That’s frustrating and a waste of time.

Real progress only after dozens of hours
This is the main reason I stopped playing. You want to automate your restaurant as quickly as possible so you can do less manual work. But if you keep getting trash items, earn little money, and upgrade super slowly, you’ll lose interest. Honestly, it’s just the same loop: pick a dish, cook it, serve it – repeat for 15 days. Sounds repetitive? It is. The game looks big, but you can't really do that much with it.

And I haven’t even mentioned how insanely hard the game is when playing solo. I somehow reached level 15 with just coffee and milk, but that was pure luck – and totally insane. The game throws random scenarios at you, and sometimes you’re just stuck with horrible options or a ridiculously hard recipe.

So unless you have four people, a perfect plan, and enjoy grinding the same actions over and over, I wouldn’t recommend this game.

Something is wrong with the latest update. Somehow the game is running at like 10% of normal speed. The launch menu takes about 10 seconds to change from one page to the next. I cant join my friends multiplayer game. Its extremely messed up somehow. It used to work, like 3 weeks ago it worked fine.
