profile name changed to "New Chef"

Hey, so I've been playing the game for years, My username has been changed from my created name to New Chef.

I don't know if it's related, but it showed up recently after I connected to a friends's game (which I've done many, many times before). The next time I loaded the game (and every one since) my profile name is New Chef. The level and everything else is the same.

when I load into game, my player looks like it does when you join someone else's system (new chef on top, my "normal" Username on bottom)

anyone else deal with this, or know how to fix it?

You have to join your friend while you are in your own lobby and having your profile selected. Otherwise you will just get the default one. Also, you can change your profile at the bed, even in other peoples lobby

Had this happen to me too. Initially had all my profiles but something happened to the servers I guess where everyone in the lobby was lagging and had to rejoin. When I joined the lobby again, all my saved profiles were gone and the profile I am on is "New Chef". It doesn't even have my saved outfit/color/etc. Reported this bug to the devs, hope they fix this soon.

You can change your profile my interacting with the bed. Took me awhile. Hope this helps someone.
