PC Gamepass / Steam Crossplay?

Does anyone know if Steam player can link up with a PC Gamepass player?

Yes, but the Steam player has to join the crossplay branch. Which can be selected in the game's settings within Steam. Also all mods get disabled for crossplay.

Yes, the game has crossplay between PC Gamepass and Steam, but you need to opt into the crossplay beta first before you can access or host lobbies with PC Gamepass players (PC Gamepass players don't need to do anything here). Afterwards the host can get a roomcode that everyone else can join through inside the game.

It's a pretty straightforward process, but if you have issues the PlateUp Discord has a guide on how to do it inside the FAQ section, or you can Google for it if you prefer. I cannot link the guide here as it's a PDF file.

Also note, there is only crossplay between PC Gamepass and Steam. You cannot join people playing on Xbox, or other consoles like PlayStation, Switch, etc.
