How to use upgrade kits?
I have upgrade kits but I can't walk into a new game with them. They can't be placed on the carts and cant be in my hand.

Upgrade kits are only usable in the workshop. You cannot bring it into runs

Place the item you wish to upgrade and the kit on the conveyor belts in the north west part of your staging area, then press the big ol' button. The item and kit will go into the machine and you'll get an upgraded version back. Use the belts in order from left-most to right-most.
