Christmas map strategy
How are you guys doing this map? Seems like a lot of work to take advantage of the map conveyors. I actually think it's better to just focus on one side.

Another thing I noticed was that if an item on the conveyor goes into a house, it comes out cooked. Not sure how useful that is though since you can't plate raw items - you still have to plate manually.

Not only do foods cook when they get warped, but plates also get cleaned. NGL It's really useful. Absolutely avoid getting extra teleporters though.

.... no seriously, don't bother - I just upgraded one in an attempt to have better flow; they made their cost so bonkers unrealistic that only people deep into OT days can realistically afford them (1250). I'm unsure if intended or bugged, but I'm going to assume intentional due to the gimmick of daily conveyors being the main focus

Teleporters have always been 1250. try getting a discount desk, and discount it multiple times, it stacks, upgrades it like 4 to 5 round and you'll found teleporter to be extremely afforable.
Combine with a copy desk together, you'll be buying them like hotcakes.
And yes, teleporters are mostly useful when you reached OT, and when you have at least got some automation already setup and running.

Or you could say Teleporters are key component on some map layout for automation to actually work and save some spaces.

North pole map is hard for solo, especially early game if you want to take advantage of the map mechanism early.
try avoiding using them for the first few days so you can complete the day faster and do stuff like normal runs.
You can possibly cook stuff outdoor to keep the dining room not too crowded.

And when you have more stuff brought, like conveyors, combiners, and etc. you can then setup some automation to auto cook stuff by using the houses.
and if you have some teleporters brought, you can pretty much setup more crazy automation using the houses and the outdoor conveyors, since outdoor acts like a freezer, you'll also able to take advantage of that to have pre-prepped food for the next day for it.
(It'll also preserve plated food, which means free plates.
