New update immediately broke my potentially longest run.

The 'Impossible menu' feature has made it impossible for me to continue to the next day, even though there are no items being thrown away... :'(

You can use a non-official mod to generate what's required, if you'd like

Just gave that a go, but the only mod I can find to do that is outdated and doesn't work.

Hi there, sorry you're experiencing this but I'm guessing you probably threw out your sink, and water is now properly considered a required item.

Yeah that might be the case, the problem is that it seems to be retroactively deciding I can't cook certain recipes. While the items for those recipes have long ago been discarded (thanks to metal tables). On top of that, I'm on a decor round so there's no way for me to try and get the items back.

Maybe it's because the new version added sth not backward compatible to the save file. As the game use the most recent save file by default, you can try load the previous one (which created by old version game and NOT touched by the new version). Check the timestamp (the file name) or file creation time (which is more intuitive) at C:\Users\%YOUR_USER_NAME%\AppData\LocalLow\It's Happening\PlateUp\Progress Oh sry, halfway run's save path is C:\Users\%YOUR_USER_NAME%\AppData\LocalLow\It's Happening\PlateUp\Full . If your 'Full' folder is NOT empty, 'Progress' folder would be ignored. Each save file in 'Full' folder is a full backup of all your progress at that moment.

You should backup ALL the save file first before you do sth destructive. And turn off Steam clouding save for the game to avoid unwanted behavior.

Same issues. Rerolled over 500 times to get potatoes back and no luck. Is it doing it based on what I already own? Shouldn't it be based on the cards I have for sides?

You absolute legend! This worked! I Rolled back my game version, deleted the saves up to the one before the update, loaded in to my save. Then I checked my recipes, saw what I was missing, spawned them in with a cheats mod, updated my game again and loaded back in to my save. Now I still have my run, with the updated game, and I can continue to the next day fine.

just chiming in to say the same thing happened to me and my mates playthrough. pretty disappointing because its one of our best runs so far.

the updated content is much appreciated of course, just frustrating to lose a good playthrough
