You can use O/X/square/Left controller button the remove chairs.
Tables can be combined. Last table placed is where dirty plates go.
You can place anything on tables, but they will only accept their dish on a plate or dessert If ordering it.
You can pre-prep 1 meal per square otherwise before you even accept/know their order.
L/B/Circle/right controller button to examine placed stuff during the planning phase.
You can also grab stuff diagonally even through windows.
If you place something in front of a door (not exit) it turns into a window.
You can only buy blueprints when they're on the ground.
You can't get water for the recipes from a special sink. Need to use the normal one.
Bought napkins, and forks need to be picked up, and placed on the dining tables. (Expires, but refreshes each day)
You can save blueprints in the filing cabinet.
If you have a research table you can upgrade blueprints in the cabinets during your shift.
You can place multiple filing cabinet around one upgrade table, but each upgrade needs work individually.
Upgrading is kind of random. But each item has a list of things it can turn into.
Some can be upgraded further. Some not. (Can only upgrade each cabinet once a day)
Once you reach the day with the banner with a star you get to choose a theme.
Each theme has it's own decorations, and buffs from having 3,6, and 9 points.
Decorations don't have to be in the same room as any of the customers.
Only pictures need the same room, and plants 2 tiles near a table. Look at the top left when checking the item.
The free phone from the start is an unlock for every run that skips time ahead to when the next customer is about to arrive,
and give you a bit of money that scales with each day. Careful not to get overwhelmed.
The orange people symbol with a minus or plus persentage on some cards is customers.
Some things increase/decrease the time in takes for people to order food (Head)
Customers different waiting stages are: Queue (Day/Night/Raining) ->
Seating (Chair) -> Thinking (Head) -> Service (Bell) -> Waiting for Food (Plate) -> Food Delivery (Dish) -> Eating
"Patience" will change how long people will wait. But not all item increase all forms of patience.
Try making sure some one can always do their job, and isn't just idle.
Experiment with new tools, and upgrades, discover what works best for your runs.
If you play well, and plan ahead you are sure to be successful.
You will unlock more options, and dishes as you go, and you get a free item after every run.
You can take some items with you to start with on any run, but only that run. (Place on trollies at the bottom in lobby)
You can pause the game for everyone, and change lobby type whenever, and people can join mid-game.
But color, outfit, and profile can only be selected from the lobby.
If your Steam page is public, and your Steam games are set to be publicly viewable,
and the game lobby setting is public non-friended people can join from your Steam page.
if you quit the game while in a planning phase you can continue it from the lobby once you boot back in.
