Singleplayer - Controller ?

Just played the demo and I only could use the keyboard controls, because as I tried to use my controller I "activated" a second character.....
Is it not possible to play with controller in Singleplayer ?

ok.....nevermind....something strange seemed to be going on with my controller and the demo....

how did you fix this? i am trying to play the demo with my gf but when i go into multiplayer mode with the ps4 controller connected a 3th input is detected who just keeps running upwards

My Xbox One/Xinput Controller doesn't react at all.

You can remove inputs via the pause/escape menu. It might help to just remove all inputs and see if you can add only the ones you need.

if you start the game with mouse and keyboard, that is your first player. Once you use your controller, the second player joins. If you want to remove the keyboard player press ESC and select remove input. You can avoid having to do this if you avoid starting single- or multiplayer without using your mouse. Just use the keyboard to select which game mod you want to play.

when i connect the ps4 controlelr via bluetooth instanly another input joins the game who koops walking up but when i remove him he instantly joines cause that input seems to always press some button which makes him join

i just bought one of thodr bluetooth usb thingys and hooked it up via bluetooth i still dont know what went wrong with the usb cable....

Try using BetterJoy. Tried and it worked, me and a friend even made it so that we can play remote play with 2 keyboards and still control a separate dude using this.

Same problem while trying out the demo. Bluethooth PS4 controller with DS4 ( program used to recognize the controller as a PS4 controller in Windows). This combination works perfect with every Steam game I tried so far. With DS4 you can unbind control inputs, which is what I did. The wrong inputs seem to come from the right stick - I complety unbound all inputs from the right stick with no effect. The right stick was still recognized by the game.
Also tried to run the game without DS4 with no positive effect - inputs still bugged! Very frustrating, was really looking forward to play.
