Well they have messed it up, if they knew so much better than us this wouldn’t have happened, lmao. Let us have a say in the process, damn?
Yeah it's just another person trying to act like devs always know the best way to create a game.. sure they have the ultimate idea in mind, but the execution can always use feedback. As long as nobody is demanding the game like completely change we're all valid to have a say in the process.
That being said I have seen many people that will try to demand a game change because it's what they want, but it fundamentally changes the game.. that's not really "feedback" or necessarily good so usually I hope devs don't follow that. However, it's very quickly noticeable how insanely good pizza is compared to everything else. At 11g a slice and one pizza serving 4 people you make bank way too quick.. day 1 you can easily make over 80g while nearly every other recipe is lucky to make 40. And it wouldn't be fun if every other recipe was "buffed" up to that.. because pizza makes far too much. Burgers make far too little.
I feel like every recipe should at the base make 5g per serving. Then have them vary based on the additions. Like a pizza slice should be 5g but an onion pizza slice be 8g. This would also encourage more use of the display stand for the onion pizza in this case. As of now the display stand typically isn't that important or used.
My favorite recipe to start is fish now because I like how varied it is. Some days I'm making bank with crab cakes selling for like 14g each. Other days I'm making 5g each with the normal red fish. The only annoying fish recipe is oysters.
Each recipe fundamentally changes how you play that run and that should be the difficulty really not the pricing of the foods. Unless the pricing gets tied into it. Like if burgers are really going to be the cheapest at 3g each then there should be cards that are burger specific that really increase the price or increase the amount of customers rather than decrease it. So the gameplay for burgers would be more centered on getting lots of customers in and out quickly. Whereas something like fish you want less customers.
Yes, that’s why it is called balance… which currently doesn’t exist if you read through the thread, hence the post.
Still, Pizza's a solid dish with the only "downside" being that differen tpizza variations (Onion and Mushroom) do not reduce Customer count, and Pizza itself does not reduce customer count as a main dish either. It's nice to have 4 slices ready, though.
