Rebalance the Other Recipies (PIZZA IS TOO GOOD)
Pizza is super lucrative. Especially compared to other dishes. You receive 11 for pizza which makes any other dishes just not viable. Steak gives you 6. burgers I believe even less, creates a mess and has 3 variations from the beginning for example. Pizza on the other hand creates no mess, allows you to serve 4 customers with one pizza consisting of 4 slices, creates no mess and ALSO costs 11 per customer.

So please... Rebalance

If you agree type +1 so we get the attention of the devs!

Totally agree ! It's quite impossible to upgrade your restaurant with other recipes than pizza before day 4 or 5 (if you survive, because the basic sink or plates are inefficient...)

Definitely agree here, especially since each pizza is 4 servings' worth. Maybe the other recipes are easier to handle in multiplayer, but in single player, pizza feels absurdly stronger than anything else, at least out of what I've unlocked up until this point.

yeah esp since pizza gives 4 and spawns withonly 1 option. steak has 3 potential options and its just straight up trash

Assuming 2+ players or a layout where you can quickly serve several tables right from the kitchen (the common city/alpine layout with no full-wall between kitchen and main area is good for this), every dish can be franchised, but pizza is the most lucrative by a margin - an advantage only offset by complications to cooking multiple different pizzas or cards that will kill you sooner or later

For burgers in particular, during early days most of the money is earned not on burgers, but by calling in new visitors.

I found pizza to be extremely overpowered and lucrative as well and definitely needs some changes, but I also found fish to be extremely good if you have 2+ players. I don't think the other dishes need just buffed. I think they all need equalized to some point. Like I'd be fine with burgers paying 3 if there'd be cards that will increase the pay out later. Like it starts off low but finishes really high.

I also find some dishes like steak to just be far too much of a pain because of the 3 different cooking phases. You can't really prepare any ahead of time unless you have like 3 prep stations which is hard enough to get 1 usually.. What makes pizza so ridiculously over the top is the fact it pays so much and 1 pizza feeds 4 people. So you can very easily cook tons of pizzas ahead of time.

Since unlocking fish though my friend and I have really only done those. The recipes are so easy and if you add on new fish recipes it just randomizes the 2 fish slots you have but still reduces customer count by 15% each.. we have all of the fish recipes and on Tier 3 franchise. Day 15 we had like only 12 customers.. and still only 2 fish recipes per day.

Toppings should probably affect the price too.

Side dish that adds 1-3 coins doesn't make up for 15% of customers lost, so that might cause you money trouble early on too.

And why would you need to buff anything in a game with progression ending at around 20 hours? Level 10 and thats it after that you dont get anything from leveling up which means further playing and getting exp is totally pointless, seriously when you consider this game gets outdone by vampire survivors which costs less than 10% of this games base price and gives you 4 times more stuff to do in Early Access. This is really no point in talking about recipe balance with shortest rougelite ever made.

You still make a lot of money with those 15% less customers. To the point I never really noticed much of a reduction when taking all of them. Still had plenty of extra money on tier 2 day 15 of a franchise and we only had like 12 customers..

I have 37.5 hours in the game currently and have only gotten to level 11. There's unlocks up until level 14. So that "around 20 hours" is completely false.

The rest of your post is more idiocy referencing an entirely different type of game for no reason whatsoever.

Also funny here you say "shortest roguelite" and then in another thread argue it's not a reoguelite..

I'll agree the prices are pretty heavy gap-wise between other recipes, but what's all this talk about being impossible to upgrade or get things to improve the restaurant past day 4? I've gone to Overtime Day4 with NOTHING but a salad. No sides, nothing, just Salad. By myself, at that. You just need to pick the best layout at the beginning and choose proper upgrades or reroll when you're at 100+ for good saves. Unlocking extra stuff the longer you play and more xp you get is also extremely helpful. :)

I actually decided to not play the game as actively anymore, since other dishes are only "a challenge" instead of being viable alternatives or variations. I haven't reached hot dogs or whatever yet. But as far as I can decipher from you guys, whatever dish is unlocked onward is worse than pizza... So my point still stands.

I hope the devs rebalance the pricing ASAP and add price mark-ups for toppings, it's a must for something like burgers!

Yes to pizza being OP compared to all other recipes (especially early on), but no to +1 because I don't necessarily agree that you know the best way to address the need for balance; I don't support telling the devs exactly what or how to buff or nerf. I say give the feedback and let the developers balance as is appropriate for the way the game works on the back end; they know how to address better than you or I.
