How do you get so much automation?
I feel like I'm missing something. I see people online with big kitchens full of automation on day 8/9. How do you get so much? I rarely even get conveyor belts, so once in awhile when I get an automation object I pass it up because having one combiner doesn't really help.

well u can focus on upgrading a research desk to blueprint desk first, and getting more blueprint cabinet. it would be easier to get the automation done with those.

But how do you afford it all?

I agree, I thought maybe when you franchise you could roll things over but apparently not. Even when using a blueprint desk and a research desk with multiple cabinets, I couldn't get anything close to automation. I think on my best run I had two mixers and one grabber.

You can also add in a discount desk. i once had a smart grabber costing only 1 coin because i was discounting and copying it every round. Also being smart with your setup can save you a little cash, if you can handle running 1 less table or counter or anything. Then you can make booking calls if you can handle it for extra cash.

One big issues.. is for solo players.. you cant stand at work at a desk multiple times and still keep up with orders and dishes. Makes the much needed automation for single players even harder to get.. Multiple players dont really need automation but it's fairly simple for them to get it, since one person can work the desks while the others take care of customers.

You are aware you can just do it at the end of the day when your last 1 or 2 tables arrive then you go do the research? Pretty sure everyone does it like that.

Early game rush a Copy Desk
Get lucky and find Cabinets, hopefully at least 4
Get lucky and find the pieces you need for automation

Brute force your way thru the early game, crying and struggling
Mash that phone to get bonus money
Nearly lose several times in the early game
Rejoice when your copied blueprints are finally ready and can make things progressively easier

This is mostly how I do it too.
B-ring b-ring that phone and get that extra cash in.
I usually get my copy desk the day after the first decoration. Then I pray to the Old Gods, and reroll if necessary. From here it's all about luck and adaptation. I've gone into overtime several times this way.

well you need to find reserch desk than cabinet than another reserch desk for dublicator like in first 5 days than it strongly depends on luck dont reroll if there are less than 3 items the more cabinets you can fint the better so u can store any unneeded blueprints for reroll next time :)...

Don't forget to not take your first research desk too, wait to have 2 before buying 1 if you want to quickly have a copying or discount desk early.

There's no way even the first item there happens. You need to get two research desk drops, afford them both, and be upgrading nothing else. I've literally never seen a copy desk because it's just suicide to try and get it, if you get the drops at all, which 9/10 you don't.

I don't think y'all are playing the same game here....

Well YES you need to upgrade a research desk, that's exactly what i said...

Store the first one you get in your cabinet then once you get the second one buy i then use it to upgrade the one you stored to either copying, discount or blueprint depending on the way you prefer playing.

I know it sounds counter intuitive, but yeah, save the first research desk... you srr extra likely to get an extra research desk in the first 3 or 4 days, and depending on your recipes you're not likely going to be able to afford the first research desk anyways.

The copy desk can sit for a day or two while you save up, and if you can afford it by the first redecorating (or better yet get an extra blue cabinet) you can save and copy those high value decorations.

Personally I've gotten more cabinets since I started saving my first research desk which helps a lot too. I don't know if that is an exception or the rule, but it's what I see most often.

Look up the pools of item on the wiki. The cabinet is only part of the normal pool of item so there is no particular method to get more other than using a blueprint desk and hope one shows up.

Bin the 1st desk, don't upgrade it right away.
Your next day will guarantee you a 2nd desk

Finding additional cabinets is literally "get lucky"

I once did a full automation pizza restaurant; still failed on like OT7? or so because the customers literally couldn't eat fast enough for how many customers lined up outside.

Overall, I'ma just tell you this game is terrible, don't even play it.
