Try bootcamp or parallels it's a pretty lightweight game.

Sadly wine\proton seems to drop metal support.
And on the M1\M2 you might have much better performance with asahi linux.

+1. This game developed using U3D right? It's really possible.
BTW, Overcooked2(U3D) is poorly optimized on MacOS. You run it on MacOS, your machine would be "overcooked". Fan noise and cpu usage is unacceptable compared to Win10 using BootCamp.

This game is really well optimized (and made with unity's ECS). Making it really performant even on slower hardware and integrated GPUs. But it's just about os support.

Macs these days are more than powerful enough...it's really just compatibility that's holding up MacOS.

I tried both parallel and crossover, as well Wine. Among these 3, only crossover managed to get me a bit further while the other 2 just crashed. By "a bit further", I'm talking about with fps lower to around 30 fps on crossover.

The specs of Macbook air cannot support the game in general, even on windows simulators which is quite sad.
