The number of plates you get at the start should scale to group size

I had enough cards from franchising to get my group size to 4-6, but since you only get 4 plates at the start, it's impossible for me to complete day 1. Force quitting and restarting doesn't work either as the groups of people you get seem fixed. For me it was always one group of 4, then one group of 6.

The minimum of 4 is fine, but if on the first day your max group size is more than 4, the number of plates you get should be set to the max group size you have to prevent this from happening. In my case it should have been 6.

good point. would love to pickup multiple dishes and put more than one in the sink at the same time. I'm pretty new to the game, so i get the sense some of this might come later.

There's a tray stand to pick up 2 items at once but it's really finicky currently. There's also many different sinks when upgraded. The wash basin lets you put 4 in and wash them all at once. It upgrades again into a dishwasher as well that lets you put 4 in then start it and wait until it's finished. The soaking sink is 1 at a time but requires no interaction (therefore the only one really fully automatable).

I do agree that starting plates should scale to group size of both players and customers. If I start with 4 players I should start with 8 plates. There's definitely a few issues here and there in the game, but most of them show up when you start getting really high tiers of franchises. Just save that franchise for now and revisit when an update happens maybe.

I have to admit, seeing this as the top item on General, and the latest patch taking care of it. Have to love a developer that pays attention to the players.
