Quest 2 Not Supported
Tried playing with my Quest 2 and none of the joysticks worked (using PlutoSphere) so I went to rebind them and now when I teleport the game crashes, locomotion and smooth turn doesn't work either

Works fine on Quest 2. PlutoSphere is more likely to be the issue here.

I'm using a Quest 2, using Virtual Desktop, and the controllers aren't working properly for me either. I could grab/drop items but it won't let me turn/walk.

Have you tried running it directly over Airlink? The game will launch with the Oculus runtime this way, whereas Virtual Desktop presumably runs SteamVR. You're running it though 5 levels of SDK interaction and there's a lot of room there for something not to work. Even if you don't like Airlink for whatever reason, give it a try to figure out if the bugs are actually in the game rather than your setup.

Note: no Steam achievements when the game launches with the Oculus runtime, which is why I have none.

I'm using a Quest 2, using VD wirellesly , and the controllers work perfect

It works perfectly fine for me on Quest 2 via VD without rebinding any controls.

Same here, quest2 with virtualdesktop. Just refund and mention it in your review until they fix it.

Thats inacceptable for an AAA game.

Short translate, use airlink or stuck. Doesn't work with virtualdesktop

Why is everyone using Virtual Desktop in the first place? Only for Steam achievements? It surely must limit performance somewhere, especially given that the Steam version ships with the Oculus runtime anyway.

VDs compression algorithm works better than AirLinks, more clarity

Just Oculus runtime only works with rift, not for quest 1/2 without cable. Therefore you need airlink.
With VD u don't need oculus runtime, this might save some resources, since the oculus runtime always was a resource hog.

That is not true. The quest 2 uses the Oculus runtime with or without the cable. As long as the game ships with the oculus runtime, it will use that instead of steamvr when launching

I disabled all oculus services while using ALVR. Quest2 is still working. Oculus exclusive games will need the runtime, but others not.
Otherwise you could not play them on other HMD, right?

Why the hell would you write a review of a game you have NOT played?? that's not what reviews are for!

For people wondering, this has been answered somewhere else but you need to launch the game through the Games tab in VD. I was running the game normally like i would any game and it would put me on Vive controllers for some reason.

Running the game via the Games tab turned off the Vive Controllers and switched to Quest 2 Controllers

Games played via Virtual Desktop ALWAYS NEED TO BE LAUNCHED via VD's game tab, it says that very clearly in Virtual Desktop's instructions. Any other way to launch a game might sometimes work but most of the time won't, not correctly at least and it's not the games' fault.
