Why would I want to play an MMORPG by myself? 70% of this game is single player already. It's the reason myself and everyone I knew that was playing stopped. Guild Wars 2 seems to be the only game you can actually play any content with any friend at any time.

To explore the storyline and lore of the game. This in most cases cant be done with other players, as you cant decide to progress in your own pace.
Lost Ark forces players interested in storylines to play through dungeons to progress the story. That is bad design in itself, so the developers need to implement solo modes so players dont get stuck. This happens because core game mechanics are locked behind the story progress of the player. Terrible design overall that is common in asian MMOs and they really need to figure this simple issue out.

all that gold youll make from solo raids is bound gold and cant be used in the auction house which will eventually not work out for you because in t4 you need relic book engravings, i doubt youll have the patience to wait for an rng drop for every single book you need

Sadly they won't, otherwise the game would be/feel more enjoyable.
Why would they do that when they continue to make the game feel like a torture, making the players feel forced to swipe a credit card in order to ease just some of that pain?

Almost all of the real problems with the game are here since release and haven't gone away.
So I am not sure where the 80% comes from.

It's actually quite smart:
1) The player forces down its throat to hone and swipe with these terrible systems;
2) Already honed and burned out;
3) Nerf;
4) New item level on the horizon to force down one's throat;
5) Rinse and Repeat.

Zombie playerbase that never complains and/or actually believes that the game is getting better over time.
Endless money. Or until the rest of the playerbase stops giving them money in order to get screwed endlessly over and over.

They can't even make a good game while manually rigging systems like they did with Elixir.
Gender'ed classes is the bottom of the barrel with the list of problems with this game.

People still play this game? Played for like, 12 hours in total because I would start to fall asleep after an hour of playing. YAWN

It's the most mismanaged game I've ever experienced.
I come back once in a while to check how things are going with no surprised Pikachu face once I realise that is not only as bad but worse than before.
