Regarding the 'founders avatar' (under the platinum founders pack) - A pretty reputable content creator in this video states it isn't exclusive (he is saying it will be purchasable for EVERYONE in the cash shop upon release, and not how one would interpret 'exclusive', in that only those who buy founders packs will have this avatar), but in the actual description on the main website (founders pack page), it literally states "A special avatar exclusive to Platinum Founders", but the truth is, it actually IS ambiguous. No one actually knows, since it's so openly interpretable. It's actually pretty important, considering I won't care at all for the platinum pack if it isn't exclusive, and I'm sure others are in the same boat.

You are 100% right, It does seem like you can buy the avatar skin in the shop at a later time, and even the Avatar are not exclusive to NA bc Ru had the same skin, these are nothing new and I am a bit dissipated that they have already dropped the ball on this one.
'exclusive' should be something no other region has and will ever have, something that when other see are like woow cool looking avatar, but nope we get reused things.

And if it ISN'T exclusive, would it be possible to change the phrasing? It's legitimately severely misleading, borderline false advertisement, in my opinion (not pointing fingers or being accusatory, but my 2 cents). Something like "A special avatar FOR Platinum Founders" would be so much more fitting in the context.

ALSO on a similar topic: The founder's titles were changed (yesterday or today), to not being exclusive to each tier (ie used to be platinum title, gold title, etc), and now it's simply just founder's title for every tier. Is there now just one founder's title that all the tiers will have?

I guess it to much work to have each tier have a unique title, might as well just copy and paste it. Like I said they are really dropping the ball on a great game

And these founder pack rewards are just salt to the wound. Simply terrible. I wouldn't use any of these even for free (except the login screen but whathever).

We have added more representation in our version of Lost Ark, you will see a wider variety of ethnicity and skin tones represented. In NA and EU there will be a wide variety of people who will play and love this game and they deserve to see themselves represented in the media they enjoy.

I live in Turkey and our economy can't be considered good and it effects us most in technological and virtual(in game currency) purchases which this game offered a regional purchase at first and that literally made me jump out of my chair from joy, i thought when the game comes out the in game currency and other things that we could buy would be done by our regional currency aswell.

And now this happens... do you have any idea how frustrating and dissapointing this is for those who can't buy anything without their regional currency? I mean i know you need to make a living but we can't afford anything if it isn't the currency we are earning in our country you won't be getting any amount of money from us this way and you will lose a certain amount of players for sure...

My humble opinion about this matter is that you should create a system that could "prove" where the "BUYERS" live and when they prove where they live they should be able to buy things with their regional currency. And if you make a system like this which might cause you extra work but you will most definitely have a higher player base from countries like "Turkey" and the other countries with economic issues and you will be earning more money from us since we can't afford the best options that are on the market we won't buy the cheaper but still expensive options, since they still will be expensive and they won't give us anything...

We will continue to explore ways to improve this situation for folks who are legitimate.

The Founder's Pack Avatars will be delivered to your Expedition storage, which you can access using any of your characters. Once you retrieve it and equip the Avatar to a character, it will become bound to them and their class -- but you can do this whenever you choose and can choose separate classes/characters for each.

Please also note that these Avatars will only work on the classes that are available at launch.

There is no way to upgrade your pack directly, but you can refund 100% of your Silver pack and repurchase the Platinum instead if you so choose

What happens when a new player, who hasn’t researched the game or played different versions of the game, chooses a class, we’ll say Striker for this example, and thinks, ‘hey. I wanna be like Ryu. ‘ so he uses the skin on that class. But then he learns he hates Striker and albeit fun, it’s hardly worth his time because he wants to do more damage and be more relevant. So, he switches classes and never goes back to Striker.

Is he basically just out a skin at that point?

The pet always has to be a cat, it cannot be more ingenious, a rabbit, a neuron, a raccoon, a squirrel, even a bird can be, but always the same ...

This just seems as if I pick Summoner on launch and then wish to switch a little later down the line I have just wasted my Platinum/Exclusive Avatar, Is there no way to just make this a box that can be opened on any character like the outfits in Black Desert Online. Seems like a massive waste considering some classes aren't in and there is no announcement for them. Also make it account bound, so it would be easy to trade when peoples desired main class is released.

Female Gunslinger, Holy Knight and the Striker are all relatively new to Korean stuff to my knowledge, but we on the West somehow don't even have all the BASE classes released on Korea and a lot of people do enjoy Destroyer and Arcana.

The avatars/skins found in the founder’s packs are only viable for the classes they release at launch. You won’t be able to hold on to them for later classes.

As for the base classes not appearing at launch, there has been speculation that Destroyer is being ‘looked at’ for balancing issues and I would presume the Arcana is either in the same boat or deemed not necessary for launch by some metric that were not familiar with at this time.

It's not easy as ppl make it seem, for as long ppl can trade gold in game there will always be website that sells gold to the player-base. I would love to see ppl get blocked or band for such thing.

Man you don't understand anything like seriously I'm talking about the currency problem here. That 15 dollars u r talking about is 9 times more expensive in my country. So I'm saying people can't even buy that after they decided on a single global price. do you get that? I'm saying its a waste of money and many ppl will not even be able to buy 5 dollar skins.

Also I don't think I've seen many games where premium currency like gems were tradable and I played many games I guess there is wow tokens but its not the same thing. Gold will always be tradable but you can earn gold in game its something easy to make just by trading too. So ingame gold is not important.

I'm talking about cosmetics and progression materials you can't buy with gold and I think this game has that kinda stuff from what I've read about players who played the ru version.

100 dollars is something really unthinkable in my country at least I can buy it because I have above avarage income but 90 percent of the player base in my country will not be able to buy that stuff. Thats what I'm "crying" about.

Btw correct me if I'm wrong but a lot of ppl who played ru version say that this game is p2 progress after +9 items and all.

I was gonna get the platinum pack but since you normalised the prices it became 3 times more expensive for me. ( I live in Turkey, a 3rd world ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with garbage currency and %50 inflation )

BUT, i like the solution you had for this, I bought the bronze pack and it is good enough, also it's even cheaper than before, so i think this works out.
