Is it worth spending money on gold to hone to 1580?

Just jumping back into it, and I feel like it’s going to take forever to get the gold needed to gone to 1580. What are your opinions?

There is a calculator online that can help you, imo its not worth it, you will spend even more than you are confortable with, i would recommend instead push your alts to 1490 and start farming clown and brel so you can get more 10k gold

Not even question if it's worth it, it's requirement for end-game content.

1580 is a tough push, after that getting to the next end game content will be easy in comparison as the soft reset and easier honing rate will pretty much get you to voldike an almost thaemine.

dont rush it, work out how much gold youre gaining week on week, google how much it is for the average hone, then aim to do that many hones a week, theyve hugely reduced the amount of gold needed so youll be surprised how quickly you get there...

in the mean time enjoy the changes, enjoy kay angel super fun abyss dungeon. dont worry about not getting to akkan, when you do get there and get most your gear, you will have already caught everyone up as we all sit waiting for the next abyss

there is a lost ark pass out next week, only thing worth putting money into if you need a boost in mats, will also give lots of fusion materials.

i havent checked the new event shop, but the last one had books to give extra % to honing, buy these week on week and only use them when pushing for the +19 / +19

thats what they want you to do, just sit at 1490, if people would quit swiping, they would have to drop the gold for honing above 1490, but to many swipers still, you should see them on the jumpstarts servers

Its only worth if you are rich or at least pretty wealthy. otherwise you will regret it. the real money cost to push your characters is absurd.
Otherwise i recommend you just play the game as long as its fun to you.
If you feel like progress is too slow and its not fun anymore.. quit and play something else

I did the mistake myself. Also do you really wanna throw money at a game which has such a scummy monetization and further promote companies in doing these things?

there arent many games out that are more p2w than LA! I guess if people have no money, they got no option other than to grind.
Its always better to say"Oh you can totally play without paying!" when you actually just dont have any money to spend!

Nah never spend money to hone your character, just play for free and make alts to speed up the process but you don't need to.

just get to 1540 which is relatively easy due to event and work your way up there is no rush to get to End game Akkan.

1540 also has a good raid/Angel dude.
