Lost Ark is donezo
Looks like Thaemine has a very low clear rate after all and couple with people quitting, bots, decline in revenue, server merge , seems like pretty much done to me.

Not surprising at all considering that KR race had piloting issue and RU race was as slow as snail.

yeah the direction is just bad overall after Akkan. SG knew they fu!k up hard with Thaemine so they had to make Echidna and Behemoth easier and consider solo raid but thats too late.

I don't know what you were expecting but Thaemine was supposed to be incredibly difficult.
Its what they promised everyone a year ago.
"Thaemine will be the most challenging raid"
"G4 will be more difficult than Inferno raids"
Thats what they said way way back before we even had Akkan.

They also said Kazeros will be a special event, "unlike anything we seen before".
Just a guess, no idea tbh, but this tells me Kazeros will be easy and for everyone to complete as they transition into whatever the next story is. Tier 4, Lost Ark 3.0, whatever it will be.

I also don't think the solo content is what you imagine it will be.
They have already been retiring old raids into solo content. 9 mandatory raids to progress when the game first launched. All of them have been reduced to solo content you run once and done.
The first set of Legion Raids are simply scheduled to join them. Eventually all of tier 3 content will join tier 1 and 2 as solo story mode content.
I just can't imagine they would maintain the challenge these raids have when converted to solo. Not when support classes exist.

But maybe i'm missing something. My friends and I aren't exactly keeping up to date with current events these days. Only returning when hyper express events come and leave as soon as they dry up.

I called it right at day 1 raid release that if they dont change the raid formula game wont last more then 2-3 years. I cant believe how accurate i was but i was called scrub idiot by your average "I want muh raid super hard so casual have no chance" elites even though i actually played most of the raids day 1 cause i no life'd the game. Reason game is dying so fast is because nerds couldnt get past there elite mentality and look at the big picture/ At the end this a game you dont have to take it that seriously and let everyone enjoy the game beside your tryhard ass.
Huh? The day 1 raids were easy. Ridiculously easy. So much so they repurposed some into catch up tutorial raids, Challenge Abyssal Raids.

heh you would be surprised to see so many 1600+ still fu!k up Valtan and Vykas “card run” at this point and my puny 1490 alt had to carry thier ass thru. The raid is just getting harder in general since Clown and obviously the population and earning will declince.

Yeah but Valtan was released 4 months after the game launched and Vykas on the 5th month.
The game had 9 raids available on day 1. Ancient Elveria, Phantom Palace, Ark of Arrogance, Gate of Paradise.

I don't think its unreasonable to expect or want each new raid to be more challenging than the last. Imagine if Argos was the most difficult raid in the game and everything got easier after that.

The harder the raid, the less people will play , it is just a fact, couple with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ progression system like elixir and transcendence this game probably wont last by the end of next year.

I have fear that they will delete the support gameplay, support classes becoming like GL will be a nightmare for me, i and my support friends will probably quit the game because of that, solo raids being difficult like Tower is already a red flag for support players, i hope Gold River didn't lie when he said that they would think for everyone and not even supports would be forgoten, but the new director is a worse version of Gold River and he probably will just delete supports from the game because its the cheap alternative.

Its not a fact and we have the perfect example to look at.
WoW SoD vs WoW Retail.
One has very challenging raids while the other is ridiculously easy by design.
Both were very popular at launch and lose players as time goes on.

Plenty of other examples where challenging content because a games selling point. Dark Souls is the first that comes to mind.
Jonathan Rogers just recently said in a interview they plan to up the difficulty in PoE2 so that everyone will die multiple times to all 100+ bosses. This was in response to the private demo looking kinda easy.

Whether you believe it or not, challenging content does have a audience. Its what Lost Ark was known for and what we were promised. Remember the outrage when everyone found out we were getting a nerfed version of Brel on top a fresh new day 1 nerf?

I think the solo content will be a joke. I can't say for sure, but I truly believe it will.
I also don't think support is going anywhere.

If you been playing the game, I don't think you will even be doing the solo content.
Its only the old raids nobody runs anymore thats getting a solo version, no? Or did I miss something?

Your argument about game losing player overtime is just ridiculous, yes every game will loose player, but your Wow example is flaw as contrary to Lost Ark doing super hard dungeon is not mandatory for progression. FF14 also has very hard raid but these are not mandatory , there is where both of the game retain more players than Lost Ark.

I don't say hard game is not having audience if you read my quote carefully, there are people enjoy it but they are a small number. It will come to a point that you have so few players to even sustain server operation with little earning as we see in the server merge now. The best indicator is Steam earning revenue, after the the release of Thaemine , revenue currently taking a big dip as oppose to earlier raids. The number speaks for itself.

It's just G4 of thaemine has a very low clear rate cause of the difficulty, I've done G3 hard and unlocked transcendence, there is no need to do G4.

You are quite oblivious if you think that server merges are because of some operation savings.
At the same time I kinda agree with what you are saying that most ppl are casuals, and they don't really want hard content... but at the same time with this hard content that Lost Ark is throwing at us we have very healthy and quite big population.
I would be surprised if this game will be closed earlier than in 5 years (unless they stop the development and go into maintance mode).
oh oh oh its lizzo (Banned) May 19 @ 2:01pm
the devs got a little too greedy while ags followed pursuit, the result is a dead game full of addicts and bots.
