cant use the southern vern powerpass

hi i got a southern vern power pass but i cant use it i click to use it but the pass still in the inventory and asks me to go to the character select screen but once i click in power pass the event power pass dont open what should i do ?

select character -> click powerpass button ->click use event pass voucher -> scroll to the right -> south vern

does it show you have a vern powerpass and nothing happens when you click it
or does it not show a powerpass available ?

you have to be IN a city to use it BuTTTTTTTTT this is my first time playing this game and read that you could use it for an alt char so I created one and used the pass THENNN i found out that it autocompleted all the early quests for my main too ughhhhhhhhhhhh... so now i have to go join a new server I think so i can actually enjoy this game as a noob. why are they so eager to power everyone up, that defeats the whole purpose of enjoying a new game... just a warning if you are brand new like me!
