This is a good game. I really like the story line and it brings me a lot of fun, But is really hard to fine other new players like me to play together and a lot of fun part seems like need a solid group to go with. It just feel lonely when the game suppose to help you find some friends.

3 years late into the party. Go to the discord and try there but good luck this game is not very new player friendly when it comes to group raid. The solo raid is actually fun.

i'm playing more than that. it's miserable. i'm addicted and the most miserable i've been in for a year since i quit last year and came back 3 weeks ago. The more i try to get involved in the game, joining the lost ark discord, trying end game content and talking to people... the worse the game becomes to me. was fun i guess based on nostaligia and doing soloraids to push all my low level alts up to 1585 and then swiping for powerpasses to get them all to 1600. but the cost of anything after that is obscene. and the soloraid rewards are such garbage compared to this cost. yet all content for groups is completely dead before 1640.

The only thing people tell u to do about this is wait for event passes where u get dumped into endless amounts of new predatory systems where u spend more time doing math while googling useless information about them. to only click on something wrong still and be severely punished for it. The game is still such predatory garbage with the worst community.

Don't get me wrong i have some fun absolutely smashing old content i already knew since i'm stronger now. But they've nerfed the rewards for them so hard to keep up with predatory fomo and making people feel like nothing but the newest stuff is worth trying which also costs the most to get to.

It makes me sad that these older fights have been forced into obscurity cause they were a lot of fun and worth doing. U get like 7-8 times less gold now for doing lets say valtan. New players seem to be struggling harder than ever if taking the route of actually playing the game instead of using event passes to catch up to end game fomo and despair.

While somehow some people are convinced this is the best time to start lost ark. I honestly with my 8k+ hours, a year off to gain a sense of reality and my identity back, and 3 weeks of nonstop playing to see what has changed. It is in fact the absolute worst time to start playing and will continue to always be the worst time to start playing based on the predatory decision making the people running this game will continue to do and the continually fading player base other than the most extremely brainwashed addicts are left to spit mindless copy and paste thoughts.

You are fine bro, i called these L out due to they lie to other naive people. If it is your hobby but you realize its bad effect and not trying to lure people into it with false infomation, you can keep playing how many hours you want since it is your private matter.

Write your server , maybe you can get some help here. BTW most questions I've heard and players answered were in Elnead, N Kurzan or islands coops.

I've had that problem since the beginning of the game. For every 1 friendly person there's 10 more that aren't. Though in the beginning, there was alot more people so i was in statics and my desire to progress was more than my disgust for the toxic community. These days i enjoy the solo modes to a degree,

Though it's been almost a month since i came back after a year off and i find myself saying "this game is such garbage" like 30-40 times an hour due to the miserable rng, systems, and not only timegated progress but i'm realizing even the content is timegated as ur forced from 1 unskippable mech to the next even when the bosses health is zero, or like u finish one mech, and the boss is dr'd within 2 seconds before u can even finish half a rotation. And then stupid cut scenes and pointless mobs that give nothing u gotta do in between gates.

And yea like all the wonderful and fun parts of the game have become obsolete and instead of simply keeping it alive for new players who wanna experience the whole game, They do everything in their power to make anything but the newest content relevant or worth doing. so 95% of the game is either done solo, undoable, or u have to do it if u wanna stand a chance of catching up and being accepted in the newest content where the goblins live.

And sadly even if people are friendly and offer to help, which i would be glad to help u with any old content cause it's fun and helpin people out is fun! i don't think there's a way for me to cause different region/server/ u need 4 to 8 people for most raids. Only thing i'd be able to help u do is guardian raids i think if we were on the same server. The game is actually setup to not let people play with each other and force a weird sense of competition and unfriendlyness, or fake friendlyness to clear content...even though it's pve.

I hate how negative what i say sounds. but honestly this is me being as positive as can be about the game and i wish i had better things to say. But unless u can brainwash urself into living online all day lookin up guides, studying video's, learning the lingo and mentality of the elitist to blend in and giving up any sense of originality or self respect. Then i dunno. There's not much for most people besides to play until u realize how pointless it is once ur bored of seeing the cool moves your character does and doing the same raids over and over and over with little to no gain.

Then you need to find players who is doing the same content as you, might take some time (took almost a year for me) but still possible.
