There's so many raids i don't know, i'm not even sure whats after akkan. I tried some ivory tower and was smashing this plant, but then smashed myself on her thorns. then i hit stop and watched tv while doing chaos dungeons :p
I also fought some frog gargaderp something. solo'd it without a guide the first time, took like 12 minutes. i had no clue what i was doing but i got like a bunch of achievements for getting eaten a bunch of times.
i mean i'm not new. but i just do my own thing. i have 1 of each character pushing my main and he's at 1610 atm, and the other 25 are all 1580 or close to it, gonna finish pushing them to there. I realized with the soloraid shop, i can get kay and akkan gear on all of them slowly while buying 100 prime oreha's each week to save up. and maybe if they lower the cost from 1580 -1620 i'll push them waaay down the line. Spent the last 4 days transfers accessories between charcaters cause they were all legit 5x3's with some having low stats. but with the free 5x3, i figured i might as well only wear stuff with good stats and ignore the engravings.
It gets hard to remember who has what when u have 26 characters though lul. had to type on notepad to remember cause i can only mail 20 things a day.
I'm having fun doing my own thing and i know i'm like 5-6 raids or more behind. and high levels have more than double my attack power along with an insane amount of confusing ark pass stuff and stats on every item i don't understand along with new menu's that make me feel like i gotta learn the whole game over again when i get there. But i'm in no hurry. i'd rather learn slow and have fun, then stress to learn it all and hate the game and myself again.
Sadly that means i won't be playing with anyone cause it's absolutely dead around my ilvl. But it's not like i wanna play with people cause all it takes is that 1 elitist asshat to make a fun run, not fun anymore. And there's quite a bit of them when u get up there considering i used to keep up and be over prepared for any new content. but it was miserable. i hated everything about it.
Most fun i ever had was in a static with friends that would goof off and laugh, i remember while progging brel, there was one half always trying to beat each other for the counters and then the other half was trolling each other to try and mvp. Clears got faster and faster and were one shots, and lots of laughs during it.
But once they quit. things got worse and worse in every group i joined. either they were way too serious and try hard or just mean to me, or had really weird drama going on in the group cause of girls or one of the better players hating on stuff. Or joining discords with people who were fake as hell and just using me for free carries. It was one bad experience after the next until the point where i only had 1 real friend left i enjoyed playing with and since solo raids came out he only does that. But i quit for the last year so i dunno what's been happening.
But yea i've got over 8k hours so i know exactly what you're saying, i appreciate the advice regardless though. :D
I do hope to find the motivation to learn some new raids cause right now brel is the only one i still enjoy. i know kay and did it yesterday but something about that raid just isn't fun to me. it feels like it takes forever no matter what even though i melt bars off. i guess alot of annoying little mechs. space bar stuff, color stuff, dodging electrical stuff. Maybe if i learn it better i can skip mechs i dunno, but at 1580 i dunno if i have enough juice to skip mechs. brel is great. i can skip so much lul. i was able to skip 2 mechs by bringing to zero from 80 bars instantly. that was great.
i'm not the kind of player who is consistent from week to week though so learning new raids is hard for me. Sometimes i'm motivated and learn them real good by practicing alot since i have alot of characters. and it could last for a day or 2, and sometimes even a couple weeks. but then there could be weeks or more where i have no motivation at all to even finish my gold earners cause i'm just not into it. Or my disability is acting up and it's hard to do anything buy lay in bed and do simple things with a thumbball mouse. I guess even if i don't bother learning anything i could always just wait long enough until there's more free passes haha.
This elixer stuff i'm not excited at all to learn, i've got a bunch of bottles in my backpack, but when i talked to the transmute guy and saw all these squares and words. i just hit escape and was like nope.. don't feel like doing this or learning this right now hahaha
Dunno, don't care. i was full quitted for a whole year and it was wonderful haha. Personally i think it's cheesy the way these passes are and control people's time and when they should do things. I know it's the best way to get the most gains. But i'd rather just do things when i want. I didn't plan on coming back but poe2 was so disappointing and then it gave me the itch to play a top down game again, but there were no other ones worth playing. i bought like 10 different top down games and they were all similar and boring combat compared to lost ark.
I was back on forums, and teetering back and forth on if i should reinstall for awhile and vet players and their replies convinced me to not cause it was just so lul with all this nonsense about what to do and when and these equations. i was like yea no. i'm not getting back into that. But i finally did it, and i hate myself now :D but atleast i get to control my characters again. i missed using them.
Even though i'm massively behind and have no intentions of learning raids to catch up. i am having fun since i have 1 of each character at 1580 so i can use whoever i want to do whatever when i play. i remember one of the last things i did was run 23 characters through voldis story line. that was kind of aids, but whatever this new one is where i gotta sail to prateria and then do kurzan stuff is pretty aweful too.
I think my main goal is to just build up mats on all my 1580's, get em all to level 70, and hit roster 400, and then i dunno. if the raids don't become fun for me and there's no other way to progress i'll prolly jsut quit again or hope a new game comes out with similar combat but non timegated progress locked behind long raids with wipe mechs.
Yea i might do that next month or next year. or next week. i dunno. i don't feel like learning how to do elixers. i still havn't learned akkan or any raids after and don't really feel like it, just layin in bed playin games with my cat next to me. i figure with 20 eye of decays a week from the solo raid shop, i can get akkan gear in 15 weeks for them, then i'd still have to learn it and clear it atleast once i guess to progress.
then i gotta learn some ivory tower thing which i don't think i'll try til my characters are all way stronger like 1640 atleast. but that costs too much gold, and i don't even know how ur supposed to do that cause pushing akkan gear to 19 only gets u what 1620? do i just push to like ilvl 23 after that for 1640? either way i'm not gonna do it til it costs no gold to hone cause i think it's a bad predatory system that i won't allow the game to get to me like that. It might take a year for that to happen, or i'll just quit again. All good to me. i've got plenty of story modes to run, and i enjoy chaos dungeons and speed running deskaludas on my 1580s for now. while dispatching some sonavels each day.
I will push my main to 1620 for sure though, the weapons already 19 so it's just armors left, thanks for the heads up! I don't feel like learning elixers though, not sure how important they are.
I was like yu, no way i'll touch them!
but then they nerfed them, and now it is easy , almost brainless, and pretty straightforward to go through.
and it is way cheaper than leveling yur gear, and gives yu a huge power buff.
For ur information as soon as yu get the ilvl 1620 they give yu access to a new gear that gives yu ilvl 1640 without having to push from 1620 to 1640, and yu get the Hyperawakening which do amazing damages (nice for skipping mechs)
Last: as soon yu'll hit 1620 on yur character yu won't have the full gold of Bresh (just for yur information)
i do play that game in a chill a low pace mode which is convenient for the casual player i am, and i agree about the great combats on LA, only Tera before gave me such a nice feeling (but a bit outdated now)

i mean for me i dunno what them being nerfed means cause i never did them back in the day or read anything about them, but the screen, the menu, the words does not bring me any enjoyment. I dont even wanna read or learn how to to it cause it seems like an annoying system. Can i just click anything to do it? or does it matter and i have to read? I mean i don't plan on leveling much or progressing in ways thats not free gold cause the more i play,again after a fresh year of joy, the more i realize every system is bs.
I don't really make gold or try to finish raids. so far on my 1580's i've done 18 brels, a few vykas and valtans, 1 kayangel g1 and g2, and 1 gate 1 clown. realized i didn't enjoy it those last 2 even though i had no problem doing them sincei've done them a million times back in the day. i just don't enjoy most of the raids. mechs, wipe gimmicks. i'm not into even when i know them well and 1 shot the raids everytime. It's not fun. it's just the same unrewarding bs. I'm just doing raids for clear medals so i can buy soloraid shop stuff.
It's obvious despite loving controlling my characters. i don't like any of the systems they implemented to keep their casino machine running.
Thank you tons for the heads up. I'm also not what u mean by going from 1620 to 1640. Is it automatic? or do i have to fight a boss? or talk to an npc? And do i still get some gold? Other wise i guess i won't use the 1620-1640 for gold earning anymore lul
If you could face and clear those former in t3 thats epic! One of the best boss fights ever in online pve group content! Mainly because Gold river was in charge till Thamine design!
Now you get absolutely cash shop + fomo trash designs, hopefully Brel t4 is better as Thamine g3 and original Brel G4
damn that sounds really rough. Luckily i'm too lazy to learn these new raids so it won't be a problem for me,causei won't be doing them hahaha.
I really enjoyed all the raids from t1 and t2. argos is fun, that was really daunting for me at first and felt really good to learn it way back in 2022. i hateeeed valtan for so long cause i couldn't tell what was going on. g1 is good when ur team understands that there is no 3,6,9,12 spots. i was in a discord way back where this one girl would always stand at 6 o clock and u never know if she was number 4 or 5 in order. g2 i hated for awhile cause i didn't understand the aoe radius of his knockoff attacks, but once i got good at it, i was last alive and carrying quite often so that felt good..annoying that noone else was even trying and just nleeching carries. but feltgood nontheless.
vykas took me a bit to learn and i still struggle to see her wing positions in both g2 mech and the late g3 mech, but u only worry about that when people were on ilvl. Once i got it good, i loved it cause it was a consistent easy clear for me since i could solo most of it including tenticles if people were derpy.
Clown was aids. i joined my first guild outside of the one i made for myself. and they were promoting themselves as chill and friendly but they were extremely tryhard. leader would threaten to punch peopleif they made mistakes while insulting people nonstop, and every picture of him was at the gum flexxing. complete meat head. but i quit that group fast cause it was so toxic. Clown became easy for me once i had juiced chars cause skipping mechs and i was good at all marios. but man, i remember how aids progging it was at lower levels. and how many peoples static's disbanded from it while people were quitting the game also.
brel norm was a joy for me from beginning to end. learned g1-6 and had a few statics during that time and hit roster 300 around then also. That's when i was full deepest into the game. I loved doing prokel. but things went downhill from there as people kept quitting the game. I don't like any of the raids after that. I know kayangel well as i got 6 full chars with it's set and a few pieces on a bunch of other characters. but the fight sucks and is too long and takes waaaay to many weeks to get the full set imo.
To answer more clearly to your questions:
1. yes you will be able to get A LOT more gold with your 1640 char, doing solo content ivory and thaemine and if you want Akkan, get access to Boss on North Kurzan which can drop relic engraving (some of them can be sold for crazy prices)
2. getting from 1620 to 1640 is not automatic but almost , you get 2 to 3 chests from doing a Choas like small solo raid called Kenuart Fortress, 2 or 3 times getting at least to pieces of the new set each raid, once yu tranfert yur lvl 19 Akkan to the lvl 10 new set yu are 1640

Not only that the designs and gameplay are trash with the new bosses. Rotating floaty ass animation boss circuses!(The bosses "Instant Snap Rotate" for no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason). With extra spam gacha rng pooping everywhere. Absolutely horrid designs, cause no more Gold river!
