Item Level 1600-1640 help/advice

Is there a quick way to reach IL 1640 currently? Sux that Hyper Awakening and the new skills require 1640 too.

Or do i have to struggle through 40 ILs with lowest rates the normal way(the progression event doesn´t help really, the honing in this situation eats all my gold very quick)?

I also don´t have any +10% rate books anymore for 1600-1640.

You need to get to 1620. After that you get free 1640 gear from the event. If your toon is not registered in the event, you need to run Kenuart Fortress as many times a day you want until you get full gear. Run solo raids and buy books from solo merchant. I would advice you to do at least +10 advance honing in T3 on all gear, even +20 on weapon before going to T4(1640), because advance honing in T4 is very expensive and mats are scarce.

This Event wast that great, they claimed its because of the T4 gems you get and the extra honing sup to 1660... also KR players dont seem to want new player to be able to easily get to 1640+, like a few people here on the forums. They would rather you have to spend the same amount of time as they did.

Without using the Event or Books on average its around 7,300 Leaps, 233k Blues, 64k Reds, 3.8M shards, 40M silver, 4,100 Fusions, and 450k Gold to go from 1600 to 1620.

Using the Event it should drop it down to 19M Silver, 1800 Fusions, 93k Blues, 26k Reds, 1.8M Shards, 3k Leaps, and 180k gold.
Books can lower this even more...and well how lucky or unlucky you get.

OH great! so i only need to hone up to 1620, fine enough. There is a solo raid merchant? Kinda missed that.

swipe. The cost is obscene and designed for most people to become addicted and want to progress while falling short so they swipe. Or quit when they realize how much of a scam the game is. Or take ur sweet time and pretend to enjoy the game to constantly fall further behind by playing only for fun.

If ur lucky getting to 1620 won't cost u more than 200k. For me and many others 1600-1620 is like 300-400k gold + books and mats etc.
