Question about game

I usually tend to be very careful around F2P games like this. It is heavy P2W as in a sense that if you don't pay $ you will get nowhere here? I don't mind grinding but don't want to be locked out because they decided to put everything behind paywalls to get geared up.

I've cleared Echidna solo raid today and I'm not the brightest or the best geared player ever. Didn't try Thaemine yet though.

was it fun and did u have to study video's alot? I quit a little after akkan. I learned all the raids up to that no problem, is it significantly harder? I would wanna do and learn all of things in order and not skip anything if i was to come back, but i'm still hesitant.

Was ok, I don't like raids much so can't comment on the fun side of it. Watched one vid and made some notes on the paper what's happening at XX Boss HP.
Gate 1 easy to clear, gate 2 expect some wipes hope it helps.

Yea, that doesn't sound so bad, i mean i don't like the raids anymore either, but i had some fun sometimes and a sense of achievement mastering all the raids before akkan. Feels good to know everyone can die, and i was good enough to solo finish the raids when it happened. But I'm not really interested in the toxicity, possible jails, effort, and lobby simulator. Should be aight, There's usually cheat sheets i'd just copy the link of somewhere for each boss. I'll prolly reinstall and mess around cause of your reply. Thanks!

--solo raids Ivory Tower gate 1 for elixir and Thaemine various gates are needed for transcendence(armors). for Hyper awakening event selected character -- clearing gate 1 from above rewards elixir 40 and level 3 transcendence(armors).

--others need to go thru the simplified elixir processing and transcendence mini game

--Advice to do setup check on each class doing solo raids using maxroll and lostark nexus websites. examples preferred type for each class, skills and distribution points, tripod, rune or alt stones, awakening skill, attacked or cooldown gems equipped, engravings, attributes accessories and bracelet, recommended elixir type for the class, and etc. may have to experiment which one to adopt from both guides. why needed -- not enough damage to boss when setup wrong, boss hp not going down but up instead.

--new hyper awakenings(alt+V) skill must be setup and ready for use(South Kurzan)

--learn which skill is the counter for the class and practice, use lower guardian raid(free mats) to practice for class setups, counter and assignment of keyboard for each skills especially the counter.

--watched various youtubers solo raid posts and mobalytics website guide for what to expect in solo raid and reason for unable to clear.

-- additional buff when entering solo raid, experiment which one is needed for example class need "Run" when class is slow.

-- have to play around which engravings is working and which is not giving dps, check elixir setup may not be the right one too.

--Elixir got overhauled and it is easier to get 40 nowadays and with free events mats from the past using silver coins, able to craft 40 for 1640 doing solo with preferred helmet and gloves additional bonus. May have to do Lost Ark Ivory tower solo. Proper elixir setup is recommended when doing Thaemine.

--improve quality of accessories, bracelets, gems and armors & weapon
except for the last one, check inventory from other characters and send via mail or common inventory

--fight and fine tune and repeat.

--Transcendence of armors for other characters, depends on past chests and mats and future Thaemine cleared, need to play mini game, watch youtube to get some idea.

--Behemoth needed to be clear for Weapon transcendence, so will wait for solo for this one.

Kakul is only thing anywhere near on the level of the newer raids. Valtan Vykas etc are basically minor mechanics in other raid gates dressed up differently.

if you want some story content + some collections then its fine for 100 or so hours, then just move on to something better.
