Some RNG needs adjusted (unknown)

For real, I've done unknown island over 40 times and still no soul... This is straight stupid. It's not like it's a super fun island. It's a chore.

Some suggestions are to increase drop rate by 1% each time your roster does that island. Or make roster cap at like 20 attempts... For real, to have to go to this stupid island this many times, why would any dev think that's fun, or rewarding, or any of the above except for annoying and make people dislike the game?

So, just finished attempt number 54. You can’t tell me that going through unknown island 54 times and not getting the soul makes sense…

Given Isle of Yearning can take some players years, Unknown is really not the one to be complaining about. I too am waiting on Unknown to bless me with the soul, but it's a super low priority goal that I just take a crack at whenever I notice.

Since you need beast of light to drop the soul...i guess you only got the darkness one? Here in our version only the light drops the soul and not both like in KR....

You mean like other MMOs that feature 1% drops in time-gated dungeons? Nah man, no pity timer for that is coming.

Yea that’s true. I am at the point where I just get it in when I can with no expectation. It’s kind of a negative on the game for me though, but whatever. I’ll get it some day

Usually that’s gear though, so it’s pretty worth it. For one island soul, I would have done it different. But I’m not a developer so I’ll just suck it up.

So, after unsuccessful attempt number 74 (I stopped doing 2-3 per day), I have to ask; does the beast of darkness drop the soul too? Or just the beast of light?

If the beast of darkness doesn't drop it I'm just gonna leave as soon as I see it on the map. This is not worth doing 74 times...
