Cals Rapport

I got Cals to Friendly level 1. But now I think its glitched and it wont let me proceed any higher. I cant do any gift giving, emotes, and even dialogue. It just tells me I need to do the previous Rapport Quest, which there isnt even an option for it.

Any help?

Click on it and it should tell you what you are missing (click on the grayed out rapport quest)

Usually its because your roleplay points (virtue points of charisma etc) are too low and you need to flirt it up with other NPCS and get their virtue point potions (roster wide once obtained) to be able to move further with bigger name NPCS

Thats the thing, there isnt a grayed out rapport quest. I just have the usual "GIVE GIFT, PLAY INSTRUMENT, SHOW EMOTES and then 2 dialogue"

All its giving me is "Please complete the Rapport Quest firt"

But there isnt one. No pink exclamation point, no virtue check.

Your missing some prerequisite that the game for some reason dosn't tell you about or it's biugged.
Had the same thing happening with Thirain, could take the quest on a powerpass leveled alt instead.

It's bugged though, the rapport quest should be available for the main character as well.
Could still be a virtue thing, but the darn game should at least state so instead of displaying "Please complete the Rapport Quest first" for a quest which neither main nor alt has accepted yet.

might seem a little off, but did you check in your quest log (not the sidebar) that the q is checked ? had to learn that the hard way ...

sometimes you have to carry things through on a particular character

game seems like every character can stand in but i think it has some quest lines that require the -same- character or it just gives buggy messages that don't help you work it out

You might have had the rapport quest on an alt picked up already in this case or some pre-req completed (like main story/side story that unlocked the character)
