Some prefer solo because noobs will not accept and CLEAR the phase 1 and phase 2.... That is where you lose mats.
I'm soloing the 1400 Chaos Dungeon with my Paladin without any problems.
Its ALL about killing the elites and as many of the elites as you can. Its also about making sure your killing the RED Dot Trash in the 2nd room and not just "everything" The red dot trash is whats spawns the boss the quickest.
So don't do the random mobs...
So like stage 1, kill mobs till portal opens and use it asap
Stage 2 kill some mobs but mostly the boss and the one single end game boss? What's this red dot trash? Is that the smaller bosses like there's three in the beginning of stage 2?
I thought I had to wipe out the mobs in order to get percentages which will call out the big boss in stage 2, no? Like he comes out at 50% and sometimes bosses stop popping up if a percentage isn't hit.
The third one seems like it's manditory to clear mobs to reach a percentage so the red crystal and bosses pop up per red crystal...
Am I getting it?
Stage 2: Focus on the elites ONLY when they are up. When there are none, try to kill only the red dot mobs (if theres a pack of them, go to them). When elites spawn focus back on them. Boss spawns at ROUGHLY 50%, Kill boss and any leftover elites ONLY then exit
Stage 3: Not much to say as you have to kill everything to progress. The red dot mobs control the spawns but ts hard NOT to kill everything but if you did the first 2 stages correct, You generally get right near the end of the area and for the most part get an extra elite kill.
In the first stage if you get to like 19 or 20% before leaving you tend to miss out on 2 elites at least (1 from Stage 2 and 1 from Stage 3). In the 2nd stage you generally dont want to pass 60% if possible to get the extra elite in the 3rd stage.
the amount of 'i cant believe they didnt click the portal and i lost my aura on that run' posts really reinforce this
if you play a pally, make a second integrated preset (ALT+E) for a judgement engraving damage skill set for solo play (also helps clear tower)
I'm curious, what do u mean u lost ur aura that run when they didn't click on portal? And don't they always click on the portal even though sometimes they wait too long to click on it?
The game doesn't separate those who have Aura for their 2 shots per day from those who are doing the 0 aura infinite dungeon grinding
So you get situations where someone who wants to finish a full run with their aura ends up matchmaking with someone doing an infinite dungeon run with 0 aura who wants to leave at the end of the 2nd map and therefore the one with aura loses out on that run (its not fair but it happens in matchmaking)
Also some bots exist in the dungeons and seem to be matchmaking and others are lazy and afk and let -you- kill things while they do nothing so you end up losing your aura on a less then full completed run due to the above
Due to these reasons, its always safer to run your 100/50 Aura runs solo, then you can choose to use your 0 aura runs in a group or solo without the chance of losing anything
On the side, got another question
Does higher Feiton chaos dungeons give more honing materials?
