Argos is too hard to beat at its state

I tried for few times we few different groups. Needs less to say we failed . Some group failed on mech but we got those people up to speed . Some we failed DPS check though seems we did everything right . Facts that my gear score drop to 1370 though it’s higher than that make it much harder .

In KR you can do Argos with gear score above 1370 which make fight more managble . In NA version we have to play it perfectly to beat it sometimes with that we lack DPS .

This really demoralising to do fight well & lose it based factors I can’t even see . Like how close were we to kill it for example. I hate games that scale everything to your level . You should feel stronger as you progress and up to Argos I was able to do itv. That main reason to upgrade my gear , runes , skill points etc . This is done NA dirty . We play a worse game than KR has .

State of Argos as it stands I am done with it tbh that kills motivation to keep playing. I want to come stronger & beat it . Don’t want to fight it as if I am only 1370 without my real gear score every time .

Right now I am not enjoying the end game due to normalise Argos & just focus on collectable . Shame state of the game

What you talked about I researched the raid I know the pattern & made my build to be competitive based maxroll & practice the build to make sure I pull right timing. The raid in KR you can come as 1380 or 1390 & do part 1 ez . Here we scale so it 10 times harder . Even in KR you can’t do it on 1370 they recommend you be higher to do it . They even pay gold for carries to do it if they are at 1370 only

Ehhh… I dunno about all that…

I decided to try out the raid just to see it so I qued matchmaking and off I went to pug Argos.

Pretty sure a few people in my group had the same idea until another party member pointed out that you can’t reque it and this was our only opportunity to clear it that week since you only can que one time win or lose?

I think we wiped maybe 20 times, but we kept going and eventually popped that cutscene and we couldn’t believe our eyes haha, it was a very great moment.. one that brought me back to the good times in mmos like vanilla wow, ffxi etc where you kept going on a fight kept learning kept inching closer to victory until you master the fight.

I do want to point out I am only talking about phase 1 haha. My group was in the 1370s so we were unable to progress to the later phases that required more item level.

I guess I need a group at this point I don’t enjoy with randoms .

4 men small raid I clear it on day 1 on hard mode with randoms since everyone knew . I really expect to clear it next week when people know about it better . This week I need the help of god to send me a good group that know what going on. I already have 3 pieces of legends set I was hoping to clear argos to get 4th or 5th depending on rewards. I guess I have to wait.

I’m not sure on the group setups as it was a matchmaking pug and I wasn’t paying attention to group comps. Yea we burned through so many pots that many of us had to hit up the auction house just to replenish.

I think the biggest thing that helped us was that no one trying to rage vote quit after a few tries so it was just the one group of 8 people for the entire time. We spent a few hours in there easy.

Also no one was opposed to popping open YouTube for a quick video rundown.

As far as I could tell, no one in the raid was expecting to just Que in and receive loot so everyone was putting full effort in and we didn’t really have any deadweight.

Eventually the stars aligned and I think with 3 mins and 5 people still up we got him down lol.

There was a moment of complete and total defeat when we didn’t get the phat loots and it immediately dropped us into p2, but we quickly learned how it works and we quit the raid lol.

It just a question of experience the fight itself is impossible it’s just 8 random to work together. Also match making need option to add role Q . You need 1 support per group for sure

Oh yea you can absolutely have a dirty messy clear. Eventually we all agreed if any deaths before the 10 minute mark that we would reset so eventually we were able to keep enough dps up and have them available towards the end to finish him off. It was sweaty for sure.

Good to hear have hope to beat it . I burn already 5k gold on pots lol in last few days .
