Oh and I wouldn't buy it cause you can't dye it ^^
And it's weird edgelord grimdark.
If there was a decent skin out I'd probably get it, but if they are really going to only release one skin per month that's a very stupid move tbh. They will never have more prospective skin buyers than they have right now.
By the time a skin I like gets released I'll probably have already quit playing (along with the majority of the current playerbase)
walk more
Decimate the greedy.
Personally, I don't buy skins for games. In almost every game I've played I consider them to be way overpriced especially since they normally only apply to one toon, sometimes bind to that toon and can't be used on different servers/transferred. If I can't switch a cosmetic between my toons I won't even entertain the idea.
And with Lost Ark it appears even the free cosmetics you get bind to a class and cannot be used across servers. So even the free stuff you have to be very careful which toon you use them on. And pets and mounts are server specific so you can't use those either so I don't even think about buying them at all.
The only thing I'm ever interested in games are character slots. If they are above $5 each I won't get them. And the way Amazon has their crystals set up you pay $20 and get 2,200 crystals which would be fine if the toon slots were $5 because I could get 4 for $20 and have crystals leftover but they're 800 crystals which would only allow be to buy two slots.
Just gonna wait till there is a sale and hope it allows me to get 4 slots for $20 or the $20 package gives me 3,200 crystals. It is what it is.
The game that I liked their pricing of was Warframe. Their Plat (premium) prices, character slots, weapon slots, companion (pet) slots and skins were rather cheap imo. I've bought Plat a hand full of times but never any skins. Even got a warframe and cape/cloak from one of those Plat purchases. I haven't played in a while though.
If you like the game and want to support it then I do suggest you buy something from Amazon/Lost Ark and NEVER buy from gold sellers. Always support games you enjoy.
Buy from Amazon = support game and more likely to stay open
Buy from gold seller = not supporting game and more likely to close down
To each their own.
people like this also support the bot craze
Its funny because I suggested on reddit that the skin they released was edgy to appeal to Western audience who were trashing the "normal" clothes skins weeks prior. Got called a incel LOL.
Some folks just want regular outfits, is that too much to ask?
You're comparing a F2P game to an actual MMORPG with a subscription model.. Nah man, you never compare a F2P game to a P2P game, ever.
I do agree that the skins and such are priced too high in this game, but the prices aren't the worst i've seen in a F2P game.
Blaming the publisher for not handling the bot issue is the right tree to bark at aka the correct thing to do.
It's not the developer's job to ban the bots we see here in the western versions, but Amazon Game's job to deal with them. Sadly, they don't and that is causing more and more players to quit. Just last night i spent 40 minutes reporting bots that teleported to a quest NPC i was standing next to. In those 40 minutes, i racked up about 200 reports, and i also know i managed to miss a few because some came clustered together making it impossible to target them all.
This game should've been Buy to Play. That would've eliminated the bot issue altogether. Might've had the odd bot here and there but nowhere close to where it is right now.
But tbh ive spent more than any sane person should on skins in PoE and those prices are crazy, so if i liked the skins i probably would buy them.
what an odd comment. it's pretty obvious they want a skin and don't want to ignore it, they just wish they were cheaper.
if you can't afford the skin with real money, you can very easily save your in game gold to buy the skin with that. why not do that? its free too you know.
very odd indeed
