Any time I try to shield up or heal someone they always seem to run out of it usually gotta put myself in danger as well. Bard life is tough

I wouldn't stress it. I don't know where you're at but I doubt you are in T3. People either leave the game or learn that Bard is not a healer that can keep everyone alive. You won't have to put up with those kinds of complaints forever.

Jokes aside, not many people know what a Bard can and can't do. Early dungeon/raid people think Bard can spam heals and has long range shielding.....If you like the class, just stick with it and sooner or later things might get better when the player base gain better game knowledge.

even the starter guides tell u never use ur % pots at low lv save em kinda tells u there no true healers but did hope to be able to cast 1 spell n not pull threat from a gunlancer

Threat doesn't work like that. Aggro is purely random, except for a single 5 second taunt Gunlancer's have that they can't use all the time.

yeah not going to lie.... i definitely had times where area skill effects where going off under me and i had NO CLUE and thought it was a boss attack and moved out of it.....not even thinking it was a buff/heal...

Try paladins before quite support role petty fun play similar to Bard.

Played it on the EU West "migration" as a main, was kinda "hardish" to solo everything.

But 3 builds= 1*DPS solo(speed clean Djs/Cubes/Tower)
2*Boss solo("speed" clean Raid bosses --> done solo till all tier 2 content. Will say quite eaz except when missing evade on raid boss one shot rotation! so normal and this for every classes)
And last 3*RAID (party build) Buff team= will tell something if guys dies and blame u as u play BARD mean only one thing they don't know to play their class or don't know the strats of bosses/instances.... and that the only thing why they die.

Cauz as a Bard (NB= support "not" "HEALER") u can carry (if u know ur skills) ur group!!

On this game people, (speak about ones that never played LOST ARK before europe release!) hinks that BARD/Paladin are healer like on other game, witch is a big mistake we speak about SUPPORTs!! (they can heal and fairly well at the end game T3 even before with full engraving specifiks skills). And they are totally needed at end game contents.

If SOMEONE DIE IT'S ONLY BY HIS OWN FAULT ! And that what is the most important to anderstand!!!

Best in slot for party x1 support (bard or paladin) x3 Damage dealer = win ! and only if everery one know STRATS/ROTATIONS Bosses... and this everytime !! But everyone can mistake and wipe! that the game my poor Lucette ! ^^

U know u can play ur class when u can SOLO raid bosses (and at the recomended ilevel not by doing it with +400ilvl = every one can do that, eception i see one guy in T2 gears that died on Yolo fox...o_O!! lol.) if not mean it's ur fault not other one!!

I see the same thing on PVP session.... they die its ur fault! ("ur useless bard" bla blabla = but they run straight and play "solo) and let u fight against the x2 guys that will harrasing focus on you (team play guys!!) So will say nop not my fault ur fault, u need to stay with me, arround and assist.

And when we win, in front VS they says = "omg it's a BOTS game"!!

So continue playing Bard it's a amazing cool class!! Once u master it.

When someone dies in an MMO it's 100% Healer and Tanks fault. Thats the sad thing but the same thing happen in every MMO. Playing as these 2 classes end up in the same situations over and over again
