Joining/leaving a guild.

Hello im not sure what to do with this issue here... I was not able to find a active guild for awhile and had to join and leave a few guilds... (not that i wanted too) I finally found an active guild with people i liked and when i left the dead one i was in to join... It said i had to wait 15 days!!!!! With 0 warning that if i left i would have a huge penalty. Now im going to be missing out on a lot of stuff and idk what to do about it. Just feels unfair bec i only left so many times due to people only using guilds to store alts. I just wanted to play with friends. Makes me very sad. I'm honestly sick of how often something like this happens. Its some rally lazy stuff. its not hard to make a warning before something. Im salty i know. While it is unfortunate, each time you left a guild the amount of time you had to wait to join another one was increasing, did you not notice this? Unless I am mistaken the next one is a 30 day wait.

Yes I saw that when i left there was a waiting period.... That being said it was a few weeks since i left the one i was in which also was inactive.... So i though that since i waited long enough there would be no penalty bec i was not spam leaving or doing anything wrong whatsoever.... This is really sad and im extremely bummed that there was no warning before hand bec it screwed up my progression plan... I wouldn't have left. Why is it so long? Why does it maintain the wait time even if you have waited almost a month since the last time you left a guild. I HAD NO CHOICE. Am i required to stay in an inactive guild? Bec if i dont leave im left wit only one option. The only thing that surprises me is that there is no option to pay real $ to make it go away. I just wanted to join a active guild and now my spot is gone. Just sucks bec this games is awesome but i keep running into things like this. a wall keeping me from enjoying the game. Just sucks. Isn't this a feature in all the regions of this game? Might want to check that before you decide to assign blame.

they made it to suck, they made it to punish the player for no reason, maybe they are sadists, who knows? But it seems to be intentional after all

this is why everyone stays in their friend guilds or make their own.

the risk is too high to gamble whether a guild you join is dead or even speaks english.

I kinda like it, most MMOs has these childisch guild hopper. They write in chat that they are looking for a guild, you invite them, they leave in less than a minute. That had to be changed.

are you a guild hopper that needs to be punished when you just want an active english speaking guild? this system is bad cos it punishes everyone, even innocent people.

I've heard the wait time is to prevent people joining and leaving a guild constantly to abuse the ability to donate and increase the guild's level. This is player speculation however, not an official policy/part of an official statement on the matter.

While it does suck, the responsibility of knowing what you are getting into falls to the player. There are no victims here.

if someone wants to quit in less than one minute.. why would you want them to stay anyway

This is just annoying, he was looking for a guild in chat, I have invited him, he left in less than a minuten and cont. looking for a guild in chat. Do you really want that stuff happen to you aswell and several times? This is just annoying and guild hopper should be stoped

You all make a good point. I think i was just trying to see if there was any solutions. I was not blaming anyone. I joined. I left. Its my acc and my issue. That being said its only an issue bec they made it one. There was no warning and the guild system in the start of the game was total A$$. I wish i knew about how many of them would be dead or just garbage bec i would have waited until now to join one. ESPECIALLY if i knew i would have up to a 15 day penalty. Im a good player and an active one at that. Why is this my fault? I blame no one. I just wanted some help. I'm new to lost ark and i just want to have fun. Thank you to all the people who were understanding and who could see my side of the story. I'm just glad to see there are people who share my point of view. Bec the first response was trash. No offense.

No offense taken, some learn that actions have consequences sooner in life than others. Others, never learn.
