If I Knowledge Transfer a Character to 960, which set will the said Character start with?

Some says that I will start with the 302 one, is that true?
If so, will I be able to buy the new set for Gold in the Market?
If don't, what is the path that I should take?

Edit: Sorry, It come me into mind, would I be able to buy the 802 set in the Marketplace?
With the transfered 960 character I mean

Your new character can only get geared up to 302 using knowledge transfer and then after that you have to gear them yourself. You are only skipping the story lines/quests after that.

So I have to farm all the Stones and the Gems to get +15 etc etc..?

Also, I won't be able to do all the Quests that I did in the 1st Character to get all those Stones and Gems can I?
I heard that if you do those Quests in a Character they won't show up in the others, is that true?

If it's not a purple main quest, then it's usually a once per roster thing.

I don't think it's scam it shows you what you get before clicking the button to knowledge transfer. You'll see what I mean.

No, some of the quests are story-related and those will give you stones. Like dungeons from Rohendel and moving forward, those give out stones too.

the knowledge transfer is for skipping Main story line quest which saves you 2-3 hours.
the first knowledge transfers skips Level 1-49 and puts you directly at 50, after that you have to manually get your character to 460 to then knowledge transfer a second time which would do the rohendal quest for you or you can manually do the story line again, honestly paying 1k to skip it is not bad.

You get the research that makes it cheap as hell to boost your gear score like we're talking an 80% chance for 14-15 with star breaths which are stupid easy to get with a cube ticket or two.

It says iLvl 960 because you need to reach that iLvl to use that knowledge transfer. It shows the gear score needed to use the function in the first place, not that it will boost you to that ilvl.

Around 10 days to get a 302 to 960. If you are diligent with your towers (2nd run more likely), stronghold upgrades, dailies and transferring saving mats with your main to your alt.

- You can't transfer directly to 960, you will have to do the vern one, than get 460, then do the rohendel one, then get to 600...etc
- Not only purple quests are roster.

100% this^

The stronghold honing boosts make boosting your alts super easy. There's also a rested bonus for Guardians and Chaos Dungeons. Let that stack up for like 4-5 days and then whenever you have time for your alt you can login and get a crazy amount of mats.

I have a Sorceress alt I've been casually playing for about two weeks. I don't play her every day (or even every other day sometimes) but she's almost at T2 just from running 90% daily stuff.

You can also use whatever your current main is to help boost up whatever class you decide to switch to. You can save the tradeable mats they earn for you new character or you can sell them instead.

Nope. Knowledge transfer doesn't effect the character you're transferring progress from.
