Is bard any good in pvp?

I'm more of a pvp player is bard good for pvp? i dont see any bards being played, I see a lot of paladins tho

Not really. Not enough healing/crowd control to make up for the limited damage and squishiness. It's like a glass cannon without the cannon.

Bard is a low S tier for 3v3 ranked. Not because of their damage but because of how much they can support the other 2 players. Everyone will be happy if you end up on their team and you're decent at playing support. 1v1 Bard is terrible, probably the worst in the game.

So she cannot 1v1 at all? even with a build just specialized in that?

ofc it can if u know how to play it well. its just not the best

It's worth knowing that there's no real Ranked 1v1 in this game though so your 1v1 performance doesn't hold you back from progressing in PvP.

yes. they are one of the strongest classes.

though they are extremely boring as their abilities are all very dull.

She can.

Obviously going to depend on you as a player and the opponents you're against (edit - like at 1:08 in that video haha), as with pretty much any PvP. This player has a lot of clips of him 1v3ing with various classes.

Bard can be very good on the 1v1 if there is a timer, she will not kill the enemy, but she can win by the time, being able to heal can win more battles than you think, now if you need to kill the enemy then you are in a bad spot

But requires a lot of skill and knowledge.

Yeah. This is the right answer.

Just check some YouTube Videos, there are Monster-Bards out there who eliminate the whole 3 people team step by step.

I tried some PvP by myself and thought "yeah man, how hard could it be" and got raped so hard in the Beta.
But this made me even more want to get into Bard. :)
